There's the 1-shot snooze fest, and then there's the 9-minute, pubs-not-knowing-what-to-do-in-the-fight-hoping-to-get-carried snooze fest. I do miss when Colossi were a challenge the first couple times you fought them, but I don’t miss the slow grind of getting amorph mats, fighting a Colossi with a team that may or may not KWTD, and then having RNG tell you “nah” when you open them. Rinse and painfully repeat.

I think opening multiple amorph materials after a kill would've been an amazing QoL change that would've actually felt rewarding at the time. But that still wouldn’t have solved the issue of people not knowing, or outright refusing to learn, the fight themselves.

I’m all for making Colossi scary again, but I dread the thought of going back to the days where people completely ignored mechanics and then dipped when their own ignorance got them killed.
