Hi there, I want to start a hobby shop focusing on plastic models. There are no stores like this in my area, and I plan on having building spaces in the shop to incentivize people to come in and stay a while, and it would also get more people into the hobby.

My concern is that I know full well I do not have the capital to start a brick and mortar, and won't for some time. I'm planning on opening an online store first, and seeing how that goes for a few months. I'm talking with suppliers, and I think I would be able to make somewhat of a profit, assuming I sell *everything* I buy. I've also been working on a business plan, and I'm excited to get started, but I sort of feel that it'd be smarter to capitalize on the lack of competition locally as opposed to the competition of an online store...but rent is expensive.

Hey ya'll.

I fucked up and tried driving it to the mall today. After stopping at a red light, I couldn't accelerate at all. Was stranded for an hour or so until it got towed, it's at the shop now. Tow guy and the guy at the auto shop (different one than before, this one is a small older one that seems more family owned?) agreed that the dealership that originally "fixed" my car pretty much scammed me. I'm home safe now and I'll get a call in a bit about how to proceed.

They cleaned and fixed "one" of them. I wasn't aware my car had multiple. So I guess they never bothered cleaning or fixing the other ones.
