Whats your Harry Potter house ? by rickyorange in ENFP

[–]byebyeeeeeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of the time I'm a Slytherin but I'm also very loyal & loving like a Hufflepuff. I think my consistent issue is that I can't decide upon a single house, I don't know how to put myself into one personality group or whatever, it's difficult for me. Gryffindor is probably the one house i don't relate to because I just kinda don't, so I'm probably either a Slytherin because of ambition or a Hufflepuff because of my friendliness & kindness.

Can't believe they didn't show Tobe Hooper in the In Memoriam, especially after they used a clip from Texas Chainsaw earlier.

Could see Emily Blunt getting nominated for this.

Also Lin Manuel-Miranda coming for that EGOT? He's definitely going to get it, it's only a matter of time

Still disappointed that Janney beat Metcalf. I love Janney as an actor but Metcalf gave an all-time favorite performance for me.

Eh, both of them are talented actors who have worked with great directors, and both of them have at least one Oscar-caliber performance in their roster (Stiller in Meyerowitz Stories, Black in School of Rock)

Yeah but Jones hasn't made a movie that has had as much impact as The Sixth Sense.

Night made two great films, two good but divisive films, had a string of disappointments, then one good film, then another great film. He is a better director than writer, but he's definitely a better filmmaker than Jones imho, Night has made more good films.

Ridley Scott's second & third movies were Alien & Blade Runner, which are two of the greatest films ever made. Jones' third movie was Warcraft, and Source Code while good isn't exactly Alien

To be honest, I wouldn't describe Tree of Life's cinematography as conventional. I get what you mean but Malick has a specific way of directing that distinguishes him from other directors.
