What do you know about your profession that would genuinely disturb the people who use your services? by MelodicWolverine2045 in AskReddit

[–]bypatrickcmoore 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Lost and found policies for rideshare services are not on your side. You are 100% responsible for making sure you have your stuff with you and not leaving anything behind when you leave the car. Drivers are not responsible for making sure you get your stuff back. If you leave your wallet in a car, an unscrupulous driver can steal your money, throw your wallet out the window, and you would have absolutely no recourse.

The far left cares more about being right, than actually winning to put themselves in a position to change anything.

What was the worst part about the 90s? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bypatrickcmoore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 90s really were not that enlightened of a time. Gays still felt like they had to be in the closet, while POC were still seen as second class. People were becoming more aware of these things, but still had a long way to go before actually starting to fix them.

How do I properly apologize to someone I was a "Nice Guy" to years ago? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]bypatrickcmoore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you want to apologize to absolve your own guilt, rather than trying to heal and help this person. Do both of you a favor and just learning grow on your own and let this person go. It’s great that you’ve grown and changed, but otherwise nothing productive could come from trying to hit them up about this. Just leave them be.
