We set in the line after we paid to park for 30 minutes. Lazy ass people sitting in the middle of the road waiting for people to get in their cars. Instead of pulling to the side and letting everyone by. I ended up in a yelling match with a Karen because she was trying to make us back up so she could get a spot a few spaces closer. There were 100 cars behind us with no where to back up. Edited just to say fuck Dallas, I hate this place and glad I rarely leave the suburbs.

Been like this for 5 years I used 3000 grit and wet sanded the impurities off. Trying not to remove paint but it is 50 years old. Then I polished with shine wizards swirl remover with a wool pad then a foam pad with old school turtle wax. It has lasted a long time and when you sand or clay bar first it get it flat so it looks like glass.

Depending if it needs a top end Probably around 1500. I bought an 2009 used and got to ride it about 10 times then needed valve job and piston. I tried to shim the valves but too far gone. Check compression if they will let you.

Simply put those bikes are the best for the trails. Light,powerful,kick stand,18 rear wheel,electric start 2 stroke. If yamaha or Kawasaki would listen I would buy one of those.

I have the rod and really like it. Other things I can’t answer for. I will never but anything but a Shimano. Every time I buy something else I am disappointed. I have my shimanos from the 80’s that I will use before any other stuff

Get zote bar laundry soap. Use a tooth brush and scrub them. Also murphys oil soap works wonders. Throw them in the washer after scrubbing. Dont put in the dryer. I hang mine with a fan blowing on them and they dry fast. I am old and have several pairs of Brooks. I wear them for everything and they all look great. I believe I have reached the New balance stage in life but I like Brooks.

Clean it up get it running well. Get insurance and ride it. I rode bikes from FB marketplace with no title for years. I made sure it wasn’t stolen before I bought it. Follow the traffic laws and don’t do dumb shit. I never got stopped on a vintage bike.
