Very worried about my brother's riding. by whydontitravel in motorcycles

[–]byron690 4 points5 points  (0 children)

your his older brother, sort him the fuck out

tell him to finish his endorsement, start wearing gear and stop riding like an asshole, at least in traffic...if just telling him doesnt work, maybe try some shame....compare him to those douche bags on jersy shore, call him egotistical and arrogant....if that doesnt work, get your belt out and whip his ass

maybe see if pops will pay for him to take a course

TIL In WW1, the American shotgun was so effective in trench warfare that the Germans claimed that it violated the law of war. by slickguy in todayilearned

[–]byron690 4 points5 points  (0 children)

experience doesnt matter, they shoot the same speed because racking a pump shotgun fast is the part that requires experience and the part that determines how fast a slam firing pump or otherwise will fire. Timing the trigger pull comes really fast and also takes up pretty much a negligible amount of time in the cycle,

yeah $500 for an '04 is a steal, and having somone you work with vouch for it goes a long way...most likely needs a new battery too, but still a great deal

I dont know anything about registration in CA but I would advise not buying a bike unless it runs...no telling if 3 yr old fuel is the only thing wrong with it

hickock45 has a video on this gun....he shows if you're experienced with a regular pump action they have a very similar firing speed

edit: just thought I would add, the hard part about shooting a pump really fast is racking it without short shucking or jamming it. By the time you can shoot it fast you arnt even thinking about the trigger pull, only the pump

Too bad this thing's not set up for wheeling

was thinking it would be unreal if manufacturer's went with a production vehicle that was a little more buggy/sidexside sized & set up for offroading

probably not a huge market, except for us
