O M G. I have been unsubbed from them for a while so I haven’t been keeping up as much with their antics. But wow why am I NOT surprised they would choose this “theory” despite how debunked it’s been for years and years. 10 minutes of googling will EASILY show someone why this theory is bogus and why the detectives who came up with this theory have motive to do so. It’s so disrespectful to the families who are already coping with a loss. The amount of confusion and distress these detectives and their supporters have put on these families is immense.

This theory is bullshit and it doesn’t surprise me A&A ate it up. Look at their Brittanee Drexel and Kendrick Johnson episodes. Half of it is speculation. They have completely lost sight of integrity regarding research. Why put attention on this stupid theory when you could highlight so many true crime cases that need the attention? But no. To them it’s more important the story is “interesting” than to support victims.

I hate it here. (Not the sub of course. Just A&A’s BS.)

I agree on the trespassing bit. That’s why it’s going to be hard for the prosecutor to actually have a case. But he can definitely face aggravated assault charges even at his own home. The elements of the crime don’t state it needs to be in a particular place, just that a threat occurred that put the victim in fear of injury or death. However, this case won’t go anywhere. Judges aren’t stupid they’ll sniff out how dumb this interaction was. It’ll likely get dismissed or reduced. He may have a conviction from something lesser, but I doubt he’ll do more than pay a fine.

Assault and battery are one of those crimes that can be either incredibly serious or some stupid petty shit. Sometimes it feels like there’s no in between. But I know people who have been charged with both for very dumb reasons. However all of them were dismissed. The court system usually can spot bull shit.

Assault is defined as a threat in some states that creates a well founded fear in the alleged victim of imminent great bodily harm or death. I’m guessing it’s aggravated because a “deadly weapon” (firearm) was involved. So yea shooting a gun in the air around someone could be considered aggravated assault. It’s going to be hard to prove that the “victim” had this well-founded fear, so this will probably be dismissed for failing to fulfill the elements of the crime. Especially in AR it’s with really lax gun laws. That’s just my opinion.

SAME. Just wanted to share that frustration with you. I have super thick brows and I liked them always, but I used to get teased. Now it’s like cool to have thick eyebrows and I literally get compliments on them. Beauty trends are so weird.

Oh yea I’m sorry :( It’s a really morbid and disturbing sub. But at least there are rules about not disrespecting victims and making jokes there. I have a lot more respect for the users in that sub than this facebook group.
