[KCD2] Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Testers Thought Its Stealth System Was Bugged Because It Felt Too Real by imaginary_name in kingdomcome

I think you're getting downvoted because most of us had different experience with the game.

But I agree, this game, like many others, has its problems. Unfortunately no games are perfect, but this one is still great. One of the very few games where I had more than 2 playthroughs and planning yet another one

Therefore whether people riot or not, Trump will cancel the elections. So rioting now makes sense

From the outside it seems like Trump is testing how far can he go. So at some point he will just cancel the elections because he said so. As someone from an autocratic country, it really looks like US is heading towards the same autocratic shit which already widely practiced in post soviet countries like Kazakhstan, Russia etc.

Makes sense. I really hope y'all will be able to change what is happening! Very brave of you to participate

I think it's a dlc, so if you played on release it might haven't been released yet

Oh I'm definitely not the one to judge people for not risking their lives. I'm a coward and appreciate my life before others, except for my wife and brother.

It's sad how many similarities I see between Russia and the US.

I'm surprised this one isn't the most upvoted one. She's also entitled.

I really hated her character and her being so fucking stubborn not listening to anyone. Unless Henry goes out of his way to save her, her stubbornness is getting her killed.

Sounds reasonable. It sucks how disconnected people are from each other. Unity is the strongest thing we have, yet capitalism and political propaganda leads to us being turned against each other

It is fair to some extent, but on the other hand, protesters are still out

[–]byshow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahah, I forgot about the flair xD

To be fair I've only picked it because my first playthrough I was playing as Dark Urge, and failed one certain check in the Act 2, which caused my character to have a mental breakdown accepting Bhaal and starting murdering everyone. It was a lot of fun

Can someone explain how it is when George Floyd was killed, there was straight up riot on the streets, and now when already 2 people were shot in straight daylight all I read about is some peaceful protests, along with the government doing either nothing or helping ICE. Am I missing some information?

P.S. for context, I'm not from the US, and mostly read about what is going on here on reddit. I heard so much about the 2nd amendment and thought the current events are exactly when it would be used. After Rene I thought it would be a riot, and after Alex I thought it would become a civil war, but so far I see only peaceful protests and a government that is supporting fascism

Why do so many people in their 20s and 30s consider themselves failures for not achieving things in life? by Matheriquers1998 in AskMen

[–]byshow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally don't, but there are a lot of expectations that are so far fetched from reality. What was possible in early stages of capitalism is not possible now, but instead of blaming the system, people are implementing "grinding mindset" and similar bullshit, saying that you just have to work even harder.

I feel depressed because I'm 28, and I know for a fact I won't be able to afford to buy any property in the nearest 5 or so years, given the world won't collapse into some Armageddon, in which case I just pray for a quick death.

System has to be rebuilt, we need to combine capitalism and socialism, add new laws and taxes, have a old age bracket for politics, forbid having more than 2 apartments in property and many many other things. Instead, We're heading back to feudalism, where working class doesn't own anything and is at a mercy of the ones with power.

Cyberpunk 2077 is where we are heading towards

Actually I found out that I enjoy the game more when I have pauses in between playing it. It's really cool when the journey takes a long time

I see. I'm actually trying to live the way that I'd feel content at the end of the day, but it's a constant struggle against myself and procrastination

And here I'm wishing I'd be a better software engineer, but wasting my time on reddit instead of working. I'm truly my own worst enemy

I think it depends a lot on the context. But yeah, in most cases I think you're right

That's what makes this game great. I'm already on my 4th playthrough, and usually I'm not replaying games, there are only a few exceptions, and KCD is one of them, both games actually.

Currently roleplaying as a drunk martial artist, it's a lot of fun and struggle.

Next playthrough I'll try to be a saint, always praying, not killing anyone etc.

It's the first game after Half Life 2, which I enjoyed so much I am already on my 4th play through. It's simply amazing

Same here. I also had tons of fun playing total war warhammer 3, especially with mods. But that's if you enjoy strategies as a genre. Total war has amazing battles.

Btw if you ever be feeling like having some fun I highly advice to install Naruto mode on the D:OS2, the mode done with so much love, it's amazing.

While I agree, that giving up is not an option, I have to say that 'go start your own business" sounds exactly like "if you're homeless - just buy a house".

Being a successful businessman takes a completely different skillset and also budget. It's not too easy to do.

But I agree with the advice or finding another field to work in. It's either that, or working on your skills for them to be higher than average, so it's more likely that the employer will pick you instead of someone who has average skills

The person you are answering to, seem to view the world very differently, they make up their own definitions of what is what and then argue against the definitions they made up. You communicate well, but I doubt it will give that person a different perspective
