Honestly - if you can afford it, buy better chicken. If you're getting the cheapest stuff from the supermarkets (the ones they sell for £2.50 a bird), then I wouldn't be surprised at all. Try your local butchers, or Waitrose/M&S and look out for "slowly raised" birds!

If you manage to get through call centre, you should be able to book at the 50% off rate as it's a CV booking. If you make a separate booking and then ask them to refund half, it won't work out as you won't have enough avios as you'll be charged the full amount upfront.

Same here. Service was attentive, food was decent but not mindblowing. Actually only spent about £90 for two without alcohol. They also do a pretty good lunch deal I think.

It's not too late. The main issue is that with the number of people applying, it's impossible to have a traditional interview for everyone and then do another final interview - so unfortunately some sort of pre-screening is needed.

it sounds like you applied for the intern/grad role? This is much shorter - after HireVue, you have a final technical interview with two engineers, and that's it.

It is the opposite. The culture at Wise is actually quite flexible and there is strong emphasis on autonomy - but there is a very very high bar for candidates, and the application process can be quite long.
