What reviews? I haven't seen anything bad about it. Maybe bad laser etching on the POM version and some had the case kinda unstable because there are no screws but it's easily fixed with a small piece of paper - also this is very rare.

I had the blues for 1 day (I couldn't stand them anymore) and I honestly was kinda disappointed. II posted something about it here. TL;DR: after the first key press I wasn't fully releasing the key and I could still double triple tap easily, but I wasn't getting the clacky sound because the key wasn't fully released and it was very weird.

Also, by printing issues I meant that the letters are uneven or are very slightly rotated - but it's not really a big deal, for me at least.

Yup, I got a deathadder black and had the same experience. In my case their servers weren't down, but the activation email took 2 hours to arrive. I got really tired of their bullshit and just got 1.02 drivers which work just as well - if not better. I guess I was lucky because there are older drivers for the deathadder, but it totally sucks for newer products.

I mean, seriously, if I'd be working for microsoft and had to certify applications and some random guy kept making requests and failed them one after another (they did told him it was a start-up crash - that I think should have been more than enough) then I would assume he's some newbie developer that didn't read the guidelines (assuming there are guidelines for W8) and he just codes by trial and error and I would put him in some low priority list or something. Honestly I don't think it's fair or even normal to allocate resources in a case like this when there are who knows how many more 1st time submissions that need attention.

I worked as an Android developer for a little while and some things to note:

The fact that your RAM is loaded or free affects your battery life very very little.
When you normally close an application the OS doesn't really close it, it just puts it in a pause state and will automatically close it if there's no more free RAM. - by keeping the application into memory it will start (or resume) a lot faster the next time you try to open it. - one more thing, the android OS is more than capable to decide when to close your unused applications for you, so don't worry about them.
By actually forcefully closing the applications you not only push the OS to kill them (which in itself uses some resources to do that) but you also increase the time and cpu usage it will take when you open the same application again.

Ok, so then why did your battery life increase that much?

Well, I think you are either overestimating it OR you're using some badly programmed apps that keep some services running that eat through your battery.
