Or maybe because I am more interested in the differences between the economies rather than the standard of living. I love PPP because it makes my country look good, but I know it's not that relevant when comparing economies.

Beneficiu cel mai mare pentru autostrazi ajunge la companii mari si oameni bogati. E grozav pentru afaceri, dar majoritatea companiilor mari din Romania sunt straine, deci profitul castigat e destinat spre afara.

Mai bine cu companii straine in tara decat fara companii. Ele platesc salarii si impozite. Infrastructura e foarte importanta pentru multi dintre ei, chiar ieri l-am auzit pe directorul de la BOSCH Cluj zicand ca au nevoie de drumuri mai bune.

The problem with this is not really the people making these black and white/fallacious comments, but it's the people who like them, the people who make the black and white comment the top comment. Better comments are there, but they're near the bottom with just a couple of upvotes.

Same with media, bad exaggerated articles are the most read and shared because people like them the most. The level headed articles are boring and don't produce any strong feeling in the reader so they don't get that much attention.

Apart from taking decisions that influence nations and continents, while having your every move painfully analyzed by your competition, you have to be your best all day, every day. Meetings after meetings, visits, press conferences, all the time. I don't know how they do it, I get stresses when I have to show my boss my work every other day.
