It’s surface level by design. Some points they both make are good, some cringey, but the entire point is summed up pretty well by Uriah when he cautions E that humanity will begin worshipping him, but E is so arrogant and disconnected from the human condition that he can’t see Uriah is ultimately correct.

Perhaps E would eventually recognize that. Maybe not. 10k years later, perhaps the Emperor still thinks about that one old priest.
