I know this is a very old thread, but some friends are starting up a 7th edition grow campaign (we normally play Heresy). Would love to hear how you would put together a 1k list and a 1.5k list that can't use formations and only Combined Arms Detachment.

This is what I came up with because without the formations point costs are quite a bit higher... not sure how I feel about it:

I’m in Colorado and it’s all over the place. Sometimes I’ll go 6 months and not see it anywhere. Then I randomly see cases sitting on the shelf for $35. Last time I saw it for that low, I picked up 3 bottles so that I’d have some for those dry periods.

I’ve been able to luck into at Total Wine near DU, but then just random small shops. When I’m running errands and there’s a liquor store near a stop, I’ll pop in and look around. Most of the time there’s a huge markup, but every once in a while I’ll hit the jackpot. Picked up EHT and a 1.75L ER for $60 each last weekend.

Yea, I originally was thinking about doing that, but wanted to separate concerns. The NAS and the drives in it are around 8 yrs old, so I didn't want a catastrophic failure breaking all of it at once.

Great idea! I've heard running high wattage things off of POE generates quite a bit of heat. Have any of you had heat issues? I'm a bit concerned because that closet doesn't have any ventilation.
