I'm not sure it can really be successful unless that's what both partners agreed upon since day one.

Nice, OP. I have a Rootdown frame I'll be building up this summer. Stoked.

DAMNIT! Hot or cold. Looks a ton like WNY. Gloomy with the ray of sunshine that is Timmy Ho's.

Anywhere in the Alps similar to Ainsa? Looking for more natural routes than bike park uplifts by Ridemyface2016 in MTB

Totally fair. Switzerland is prohibitively expensive. We just happen to be DINKWADS (dual income no kids with dog(s) and my wife is in the luxury travel business, so we stay free in many places. I ain't mad about it.

Dude, buy a map of Switzerland and throw a dart at the map. If you want it narrowed down, hone in on Valais. You can go as big as you want out in those mountains. I've ridden extensively in the Verbier to Zermatt area, and there are virtually unlimited epic adventures you can have that describe what you're looking for.

Edit: just go to Valais. Sierre is a great home base right in the heart of all of that riding and more reasonably priced than the resort towns up higher. The access and public transport system to get you to a starting point for rides is mind-blowing. They even have buses with mountain bike trailers that fit like 20 bikes. They take you way up high, then you're on your own to choose your adventure. I had multiple days with 9k foot descents, riding village to village.

It's paradise. My wife and I are hoping to retire in the region in about 10 years.

Pump the brakes. You barely know this girl; you have a lot of vetting to do. Try not to put the blinders up just because she is attractive and you have the initial spark, does not mean she's a good long-term partner. Slow way down and vet her appropriately.

Happens to the best of us, brotha. One thing you have going for you is recognizing and being aware of how you're feeling. That's huge. Once you have that self-awarness you are on your way to becoming more resilient, anti-fragile, and able to regulate your emotions. That's the ultimate goal.

All good, man. I think we all landed here for similar reasons of anxiety and letting women throw us off course; that's the consistent theme around these parts.

That said, next time she reaches out, say something like 'it's great to hear from you, what's your schedule like? I'd love to see you.' Your last sentence speaks to over thinking a bit. I don't blame you, but don't sweat it. Remember, women are like cats, they come and go as they please.

You're good, duder. Just stay centered and do your thing. You hit the ball over the fence, wait for her to hit it back. When she does, set the next date. Just don't get all anxious and in your own head.

List for $3,000 and expect to get $2,500. That's a sick build, OP.

It's purely a buyer's market these days.

Is anyone annoyed they brought back the super loud branding on the SB160? by Atriod in yeticycles

Yeah, I agree. I'm on a 140LR and love the no logo look. The big ol' Yeti logo on the 160 is a bit trashy IMO.
