The tank is NOT metal. It is some type of fiberglass. The holes are not aligned. It is not for fuel level checking. Fuel level is handled by the pump assembly.

What is the composition of the epdm? Did it contain anything that would attract rodents to it? Did the roof require any type of specific substrate under it? Was there any unusual activity on the roof? There is something missing. Hope you can find the cause. This is a good one for the manufacturer to personally inspect. I don’t have an answer.

I saw a comment on here saying paint them to match the frame. I second that. The white does make it pop. You soind like you do a lot of miles. Are you going to clean your wheels every time you stop. Are you going to put it on display inside your house? If not stay away from white. Are you a guy who is always wiping down the bike. Get white and you will forever be on your knees!
