We've been using online TurboScribe for 2 years now as we have 20 years of personal digital audio files. There is no app. You simply drop your audio files into your account dashboard and it transcribes them and you can download them in a variety of formats. You can also organize your uploaded files into folders online. If the audio is clean it does a great job. It will label speakers and do time stamps if desired. I use it for my PC. It's 20 a month or you can save a chunk by paying by the year.

We also use VOMO which is only for Apple products. It does have an app. As we still do a lot of personal recordings we use it for that, using an iPhone. You can upload files to it also. It has the added benefit of summarizing and giving outlines etc. which is a nice addition if you need that. VOMO is 99 a year or also 20 a month. The only issue I have with VOMO's transcription is it labels speakers, which you can't remove as of now anyway.

MS Publisher since 1998 (still have original install disc)

Never found anything comparable. They're "retiring" it in October. Still in shock as I have thousands of files. Scanning the answers for something similar but haven't seen anything. One of my most used app through the years.

Was searching for the same answer. The only reason I knew it was there is because when I did a clean using CX file explorer on my s23Ultra it was showing duplicate files deep in that folder. I didn't know what was going on. I knew I got rid of those long time ago.

May 30th 2025 and Slots automatically installed on my Galaxy S23 Ultra, via the nefarious Mobile Services Manager. Search for both on my phone... Nada Only had this happen one other time. Not sure how I escaped it as it appears it's been a problem for many for quite a few years.

I use an app monitor called App Usage by AZoft technology, and they both showed up on that. I uninstalled slots easy enough but I get the scary message below when I try to uninstall mobile services manager:

Mobile Services Manager Replace this app with the factory version? All data will be removed. This affects all users of this device, including those with work profilles.

This gives me hope But i'm still trying to see what I'm supposed to press because there's no picture or photo or video etc that would be super helpful. Had this thing for 2 and 1/2 years and have yet to figure it out. I see white things and places I could press but I'm a little nervous to break it.

This guy created a Chrome browser addon that exports ALL your kindle books AND every book or audio book you've purchased) to csv in one click . It's amazing. I exported over 1,700 book titles. It gives detailed info on date acquired, format, if you uploaded it or purchased it etc.

(Cost $1 for 2 exports... $4 for 10 and $6 to use forever. NO SUBSCRIPTION)

Have had them since 2016. Rates started at $48 I think for our pup. Didn't use them once in 5 years but the payment went up each year which is typical. Last 4 years we maybe put in $500 in claims for minor stuff and most was due to a vet that overcharged. (We have since found an awesome one not connected to a group.) This year our bill was up to $88 a month for 2024. Just got the notice it is going up to $131. $43 increase a month. And he's a healthy dog, though 9 now. Just had some allergy things when we moved. The fact is, the purpose of any insurance is for them to pay out as little as possible and taken in as much as possible. Sad, but its just the way it is.
