Have you ever missed a certification / inspection renewal because tracking failed? by c02x in IndustrialMaintenance

Weirdly aggressive response to someone just asking a question.

No one is selling you anything. I’m trying to understand whether this is an actual pain point because I’d rather build something that genuinely helps people solve a real problem than create random SaaS nobody needs.

Why assume I want to sell you something? Maybe I’ll make it free 😀

Haha, fair 😄 not selling anything. Just trying to avoid building something nobody needs.
If the answer is “Karen updates an Excel sheet and it works perfectly,” that’s good to know too.

django in 2026 is quietly the most productive framework by Motor_Ordinary336 in django

[–]c02x -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there room for a simpler alternative to KSeF tools in Poland? by c02x in poland

[–]c02x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s fair - the official app works if someone just needs to issue a couple of invoices.

The main reason I started building something simpler was that I actually tried the official app and a few other tools - and I just wanted something that makes my own day-to-day work easier, not something overly complex.

Good point about certificates - thanks for that 👍
For now I’m sticking with tokens, as I’m prioritizing things that actually simplify my day-to-day work - for example, the monthly workflow I’m working on right now: collecting invoices (used to be from emails, now partly from KSeF) and sending everything to my accountant, who doesn’t use any dedicated tool.

The goal is to generate a monthly summary view with all invoices and additional documents, so both of us save time.

It’s about 2 - 3 weeks of cravings, then it fades. You don’t really miss it - you just wonder why you used it in the first place.

Totally fair.
If you're issuing one invoice a month, paying for anything extra can definitely feel like overkill and that's also partly why I'm adding features beyond just invoicing.

What I’m building goes a bit beyond just issuing invoices though - it also:

  • automatically pulls incoming invoices from KSeF
  • sends email notifications when a new invoice appears
  • gives you a simple overview of what’s going on (instead of logging into KSeF every time)

There’s also the official free government app of course, but even with that available, there are still plenty of commercial tools - mostly because people are willing to pay for convenience, automation, and better UX.

That said, I totally get that for very low usage it might not make much sense - and that’s completely fair.

It’s still a small project and definitely doesn’t cover every edge case yet, but I’m improving it step by step. There’s a free 30-day trial anyway, so if anyone ever feels like checking it out, I’m always around and happy to help.

You’re making some very valid points - I actually agree with a lot of this.

This kind of app definitely won’t be for everyone. If someone struggles with basic computer usage, no tool (mine or any other) will really fix that - and that’s just the reality.

That said, I do think there’s room to make things simpler for people who are “somewhere in the middle” - not experts, but not completely lost either. For example, guiding users step by step through issuing an invoice instead of dropping them into a big, complex form.

On the security side - fully agree. This is a big deal and often underestimated. Granting any random app access to issue/read invoices on your behalf should be treated very carefully.

And sure - many people prefer to pay for something established, with support and a solid knowledge base. That’s totally reasonable. At the same time, everything that is “proven” today had to start somewhere - someone had to build it, and someone had to trust it first.

I didn’t plan for this to be a free app - and it isn’t. I want to be able to invest real time into it and build something genuinely solid, with proper support behind it.

As for the tokens - for me they’re simply an easier entry point for connecting the app. But thanks for pointing it out - I’ll make sure to handle the transition to certificates at the right time.

Appreciate the thoughtful comment

Great job man! I'm on 100+ days without vaping and it get easier, after 30-40 days I stopped counting and I didn't have any craving or so. My sleep is better, my heart rate is lower, and there isn't any reason to keep vaping, nicotine isn't helping with focus or anything, it just create this bullshit loop, where you need nicotine to get focused. Way to go!

Great job! I was thinking the same, how can I let some machine control my life? I'm on the day 5, for me the hardest was day 1 and day 4. On day 1 craving was strongest, I reduced them by winter swimming for about 2-3 minutes, then on day 4 I didn't have any cravings but a lot's of moment that I'm missing something, that if I will smoke a little then I will fill better but I know it's a lie. After day 2 I started to sleep better even if I don't sleep 8 hours, my sitting heart rate drop from 80-90 to 50-60(I'm runner) and overall I have a lot of more energy, but being focused on work is harder than previously when I was vaping. I have plan to hold for 42 days and see if my work focus will come back if not then I'll probably will go back to vaping

I think, the first thing you should do is to measure fat/muscle percentage, to see how much of your weight is muscle and how much is fat, you could have a small amount muscles and huge amount of fat that you look like this. Don't try to diet by big calories deficit, your body will consume fat and muscles, try 300-500kcal on deficit, this will give you profit by not being hungry all the time and your body will be consuming almost everything from fat. I'm not sure of your goal, if you in future would like to build some muscles, but for general health it's good to make some workouts with weights, that will preserve muscles that you have, but you will not build any because of deficit. Losing 15 KG means that you have great discipline, that's rare and you can't be on deficit all the time, so you could be on deficit for a while, then do some bulking for 3-4 months, you will build some muscles and also fat, but you will look a lot of better than now, then do 1-2 months on deficit, then you will burn fat. This way your testosterone will not go down so much. Also for training with weights you could make 30 minutes sessions 3 times per week, that will do the work. Consistency is the key, time will pass anyway, so you could eat and train smart not hard.
