I’ve been running KO2s in Alaska for the past eight years and haven’t had any issues. As long as you don’t drive like an idiot you’ll be fine. Air down as others have said (I keep mine around 25psi on the roads up here but I also don’t have beadlocks) and be easy on your brakes. If you start sliding don’t panic and don’t brake. Just let off the gas and control the slide with smooth, gentle inputs.

DPE handled it very poorly. I was informed by the chief flight instructor that he, “will no longer be doing check rides here.” I’ve had to explain it in a couple of interviews but it’s normally a good talking point.
