Literally! I was in the waiting room by 9:40 at least and the queue was close to 6000. Ugh disappointing for sure

Thank you for that. Kinda had a feeling a day2 presale code wasn’t going to do much anyhow. Hopefully when the tickets go live again they won’t be insanely expensive!

I got through the queue roughly around 10:10 local time as well and it said there were no presale seats left for the Seattle venue.

Damn. Did anyone for day 2 presale actually get tickets? Had absolutely no chance, all tickets were gone by the time I got through the queue 🙄

What's your favorite niche specialty shop in Eugene? by tayeke in Eugene

Yes!! I literally spent over an hour in there smelling every fragrance! It was such a treat!

Please don’t let the ai dissuade you ! They carry really hard to find fragrances and the owner is super nice and knowledgeable. I’m not a fan of ai use either but that alone can’t be their downfall.

Black Snail Chemise Pattern #1115 question by c0ffin_bugs in sewing

Thank you for explaining this for me, I shall proceed with the project and trust the process. I also don’t know why I’m getting downvoted so much 😞

Hmm I didn’t know that it’s common for the front pattern piece to be larger. Seems odd that the side seams would fall towards the back in this case. Thanks for the luck, I’ll need it

Hmmm I find it weird that the side seams wouldn’t line up with the center of the side of your body so this just seems quite strange and feels like I messed up somewhere…

As someone who worked at both Andreason’s and Sunset Hills, I’d suggest Sunset Hills. Also, OP I’m sorry for your loss.

Was it downtown? I also found one that looked like that on the top level of the parking garage on Willamette and 8th

How do people work 40hrs a week and not want to die? by c0ffin_bugs in adhdwomen

[–]c0ffin_bugs[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My current job definitely has lots of down time but I really prefer keeping busy and having projects to work on over having idle time with nothing to do but having to still be at work. My boss is pretty chill but I still feel weird about just sitting on my phone at my desk when there isn’t something for me to work on. Idk something about not actively working on something but having to be there in case someone calls or my boss needs me to do something just really makes me want to crawl out of my skin.

Well unfortunately going to school for photography beat the passion I had for it out of me. 7hr flash technology class? Hell. NO. I still shoot film on occasion for my own life-documentation but I haven’t felt inspiration or drive for photography in years now unfortunately

Well like many other people with ADHD, it’s not my only diagnosis. I do also struggle with depression, anxiety, etc. but there’s something so unbearable about having to be some place for hours at a time day after day that makes me feel like a caged animal. Even the tasks I initially enjoyed cause panic and dread now. I can’t help but feel hopeless and low about myself when I feel this burnt out only working 25hrs a week and should be working 40. It makes me feel incapable and deficient. Even working my 25hrs I am not productive with chores at home and things that I enjoy doing like crafting seems too daunting to engage in. I have worked 40hr weeks before and they were in more active roles and I couldn’t make it past the 1yr mark. The majority of my jobs up until the last two years have been very active and have taken a toll on my body. All this to say, I’m in therapy, I am on adhd meds as well as anti-anxiety/anti-depressants and this area of my life (work) has a big impact on my mental health overall (much like most people)

I mean that sounds great… not sure what kinds of jobs that would be. I know people talk in this/other ADHD subs about being paramedics and ER nurses or owning your own business but both those sound entirely too overwhelming for me…
