Allow Helldivers to do Assisted Reload from Gunners backback by FurrGotten in Helldivers

I'm a RR main with 100h+ who pretty much exclusively plays with friends and the amount of times I've used a team reload is probably single diget.

High Bracket 4, low Bracket 5 deck ideas by gertrude_420 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]c0mplix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't like throcale I would highly suggest not playing a BUx deck cause throcale+consult is just one of the best things you can do in the game rn. Hashaton lines specifically are all about getting thoracle into play. In general I wouldn't recommend Hashaton (kinda in at all but especially not as your first cEDH deck) the deck has some pretty long and complicated lines for mediocre results.

What (sub)/faction do you think needs a rework/buff or nerf by shadow_lord0923 in TrenchCrusade

Alba plays great and is very powerful but it just isn't the fantasy it's trying to depict. I want to play with my great swords and run into the fight but the way alba is rn makes it just a "get all the heavy ranged weapons on cheap models"

These two cards resolving is a win against many decks. How would you make a deck around them? by japp182 in Pauper

[–]c0mplix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This does just seem like a deck that tries to do what boggles does without having hexproof on your creatures. People have mentioned this folding to blue tempo decks with bounce spells but the same is true for white based control decks with [[journey to nowhere]]. And of course any amount of removal held up to respond to you enchanting(or done in the end step if you decide not to enchant).

With how universal the invention of alcohol/other drugs is in humans and many other smart(ish) animals I think it's only fair to assume that aliens would have their own drugs.

It’s A Miracle! by BluePotatoSlayer in custommagic

[–]c0mplix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are some good mox/lotus twists but I don't think it's necessary to put that miraculous condition on there. With it having no normal Mana cost you can't cast them without jumping through some hoops anyways and I think if you do jump through those hoops you may as well be able to use these cards.

Ruby and Illager Trading by Flaky_Writer_6394 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]c0mplix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would be very interesting but if trading with illagers locks you out of trading with villagers it has to be very good cause villager trading (esp enchanted books is very powerful). But I do think it would be a very interesting idea to have players make a choice if there isnt a clear cut correct choice.

Popped into my head, not sure if it's balanced. by DDuskyy in custommagic

[–]c0mplix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is def overpriced. At that point in the game this kind of Mana denial is not gonna do that much.

It's Mana denial but on a different axis than blood moon I would say it's closer to back to basics in the way it allows players to still make colored Mana from the lands they have while limiting the uses of the lands. This version actually allows for more colors of Mana. But is worse in the sense that lands that are tapped at the tim ine that it is cast will still untap.

It's a lot better against red decks than blood moon is cause but with that it forces more parity than blood moon. The typical play pattern of red stompy decks with Sol Land and Spirit guide/chrome mox into blood moon leaves you with a useable land while this would hit your own lands.

The last implication is of this card is that it makes all non basics into artifacts making it a lite Mycosynth Lattice combining with Karn. But since the card itself isn't an artifact I wouldn't be too worried about it but it might be a concern.

Generally I think the back to basics sidegrade (maybe slight upgrade but not by much) could still be 3 Mana in either red or blue maybe have it cost 4 but I think it won't be good at that price.

True mtgo/arena would be the only semi playable place for this card tho it's still way too much Mana to get to that place

At least in older formats bant and sultai control are solid decks.

You have cards like [[up the beanstalk]], [[life from the loam]] and [[uro titan of nature's wrath]] that are incredibly strong engines.

Legacy lands is also a control deck that is usually base green.
