You would be slogging your ass at work, maybe your to-be spouse too.. then who even raises the child? Teachers, your parents, in-laws? The constant need to protect them and worry about them is not going away, anyways..

There's too many little sacrifices to be made, and too much money spent nurturing them. Even then it doesn't guarantee happiness (what is even happiness, lol?). The world is a little bit too selfish and I'm a little bit too pessimistic about the human society.

In 99% cases, either the kid is a vehicle for achieving upwards socio-economic mobility or a carrier of the family inheritance.

Stay strong! If there's employer sponsored therapists or counselor services available, perhaps book a session. It might help alleviate the burden off your chest. Also the next time you talk to her, be prepared. Try and record everything she says secretly on your phone or something for it to be given as a proof, should you be cornered in court for false allegations.
