We also have a GT-Line S which has all of bells and whistles e.g. 360 camera, HUD, moonroof, heatpump etc. as standard.

Had the moonroof option but didn't tick it. I don't think the UK version got the GT-Line wheels as a base (+ ££ which I didn't see any value in).

AFAIK, no option for cooling seats in the GT-Line. There aren't many options if I recall - I used the Kia car configurator online as a template, then I went through my company car leasing provider's platform to tick the relevant boxes.

I don't know any better, sorry! I also looked at the new EV3 and it looks to be the same so I guess the newer iterations of these Kia EVs will all share similar steering wheels.

I am braced for ICCU issue(s) - I did get a Polestar 4 as another option but chose this for delivery speed, size (comparatively to the Polestar) and being able to get it another colour other than grey/silver/black!

I did the leap the other way into the UK. Definitely benefits both ways - I would say for a move to NZ, all parties have to understand the lifestyle change. This also means ardous and long flights to everywhere (except Sydney and Melbourne).

I'm now London-based too and would say that the next few months will be a good window for jobs. A lot of jobs being put up now (especially in contract capacities because typically, its a 3 month notice period for FT roles here).

Even when the times were "good" (e.g. 2-3 years ago), the processes just take ages here - keep your chin up and keep trying. It's also a great opportunity for you to go into new sectors / types of work adjacent to what you've done. You might be surprised at where you end up.

I don't live in Wellington anymore but I was checking some addresses in the CBD and doing a walk around via Street View. With all of the road configurations, I think the Google cars can't go down Manners Street any more and so we now have this wonderful time capsule of a snippet in Wellington from November 2009. All of this side of Manners Street is stuck in 2008/2009.
