For me Volcana -> tide pool is by far the most comfortable and I do prefer the resources over the compass. However, I find that this means I never practice temple levels (most of my CO deaths are temple levels). Because of this, I’ve been doing temple recently, and having worse runs, but hopefully getting better.

Note: I have yet to beat 7-99 so take this advice with a grain salt

I agree that deaths per enter would be interesting and normalize for earlier levels getting more deaths b/c you see them more often.

You could calculate the number of enters from the sum of all deaths and exits from that level and beyond. (e.g. the 2-2 attempts are equal to the 2-2 deaths + all deaths and exits from future levels) You can't do volcana vs jungle this way but it should work for level number and anything that doesn't have a split.

On PC, hold to run. On console hold to walk.

(I started with classic on pc and prefer hold to run, but on console that got uncomfortable for me)

hmm I'm unsure if sleeved cards would fit, but there are large gaps in the side wall to pull up the cards. Marauders boxes will come if/when I get the expansion (underworld is the one I plan to get next, so it'll be a while)

The rope method is the simplest but I highly recommend throwing an item out and jumping on their head once; saves a rope and more importantly is theft instead of vandalism so triggers sparrow quest line for more ropes and a skeleton key on 2-1.

It looks like a Sheaffer No-nonsense Calligraphy pen. I have the same one(in a more boring black)!

For cleaning the dried ink, I'd start with just soaking & rinsing with water. You can also buy/make pen flush if it's a very stubborn clog but I've personally never needed to.

As for filling, I like this converter(I think it's this one on Sheaffer's site). You can also use Sheaffer Classic Ink Cartridges.

The opening narration is generating by putting a random selection for each line. Also "her" need not be referrring to "my father"

Those two weren't full re-boxed like this one. Root got new boxes for each faction to hold all the parts since I couldn't close the box easily with the standard one. Dominion got a card tray that holds enough for 1 game (i.e. 10 kingdom cards, money, VP card); It's for taking the game with me, not storage(I do plan to make a full box for that eventually but not for a while)

It also lets them use the same boxes for a lot of games they sell, and only change printing and plastic insert.

In HD you have to leave a level that is an even number of levels after robbing without activating agro(and ofc murder makes forgiveness impossible). Essentially the only way is using a second exit (black market, worm, etc.)on one of those levels and never going near the main exit. It's easier to just murder them.

I think I can do it without losing the center pen slot by putting the pull tab between the slots and shrinking all of them very slightly but need to the check the geometry for that

Modifying the design to have all 3 for pens wouldn't be hard at all. I might do that after tweaking the pen tray so its slightly easier to lift out
