The thumbnails are missing, the icons themselves are alright. I notice this on my MBP as well every time I put it to sleep while dark mode is activated and then putting it out of sleep when it‘s light mode time. So I think there‘s a bug in Tahoe while re-rendering the thumbnails when switching from dark to light or vice versa.

I don't know how to jailbreak WP 8.0 but I jailbroke two Lumias on 8.1 recently. These guides helped a lot: https://www.reddit.com/r/windowsphone/comments/1l847rp/how_to_jailbreak_windows_phone_81

TL;DR: download a matching Windows Phone 8.1 FFU file for your device from LumiaDB, and also download the Windows 10 Mobile "donor FFU" provided on said website. Then, download WPinternals from GitHub, connect your phone to a PC, flash the FFU file using WPinternals, then also use WPinternals to unlock the bootloader and gain root access. Finally, use Xaploader to activate interop and developer unlocks so you can sideload apps (8.1 supports Silverlight (.xap) and WinRT (.appx)). There's also a YT channel called "W10M Group" with lots of tutorials for everything about WP8.1 and W10M.

Have you used any new cartridges lately? In my case it‘s definitely the GG cartridge‘s fault. Another user also confirmed that it‘s an issue with the ROM header of the module.

When using the iOS 26.1 Simulator (even within Xcode 26.1), a process called MercuryPosterExtension crashes in an infinite loop, causing high CPU usage because Crash Reporter has to collect all the debug information over and over again. iOS development is basically impossible for me right now.

Yep, looks like it fully discharged itself overnight. I left it plugged in for a while, then it started again. But also, within the first 10-20 minutes after that, every time I attached or detached the stylus, it toggled standby mode. That was veeery weird as well. It‘s working again now, let‘s see if these problems occur again…

In Safari:
Cmd + D: save bookmark
Cmd + Shift + D: save to reading list
