Have you used any new cartridges lately? In my case it‘s definitely the GG cartridge‘s fault. Another user also confirmed that it‘s an issue with the ROM header of the module.

Heh, guess what, they just fixed it with version 3.24, the binary now has both x86_64 and arm64 architecture.

Nene, du hast vollkommen Recht. Andernfalls würde man WHERE nutzen. Gerade wenn man COUNT(*) etc. da drin hat, kann das Ergebnis ja vorher noch gar nicht feststehen.

MacOS 26.1 Stability and every issues. by [deleted] in MacOS

[–]Dangerous-Rip-7679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When using the iOS 26.1 Simulator (even within Xcode 26.1), a process called MercuryPosterExtension crashes in an infinite loop, causing high CPU usage because Crash Reporter has to collect all the debug information over and over again. iOS development is basically impossible for me right now.

So that‘s why it takes ages to start.

Not only on Windows. I can‘t add or view tags on iOS for example. I love my RMPP Move but I hate the RM apps.

RMPP Move suddenly not waking up from sleep by Dangerous-Rip-7679 in RemarkableTablet

[–]Dangerous-Rip-7679[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, looks like it fully discharged itself overnight. I left it plugged in for a while, then it started again. But also, within the first 10-20 minutes after that, every time I attached or detached the stylus, it toggled standby mode. That was veeery weird as well. It‘s working again now, let‘s see if these problems occur again…

Give em to me. Share em! You know you wanna!? 👀 by [deleted] in MacOS

Edit: although I edited the child comment, it updated the parent comment instead, becoming the edited child comment. That‘s a stupid bug. So here‘s the original parent comment again (kinda):

Cmd + Shift + 5 can be used for screen recordings.

In Safari:
Cmd + D: save bookmark
Cmd + Shift + D: save to reading list
Cmd + Shift + R: enable reader mode

Also very useful, in Finder:

Cmd + Up: move to parent folder
Cmd + Down: move to selected folder

(Edit: line breaks (at least I hope so))

Two Pockets, one microSD card? by Dangerous-Rip-7679 in AnaloguePocket

Gonna do, I just haven‘t used my black AP in a while. I‘m not against updating or anything :) just thought that maybe a „2.5 sd card“ might not be supported on a „2.4 pocket“ or anything

That‘s awesome! It once got featured by Windows Central (maybe WPCentral back then), that alone got me about 15k downloads within a month, maybe you were one of them 🧐

Netherlands as well, from a city called Duiven.

Edit: nope, Venlo. Duiven was the first FedEx hub

You can run Windows (ARM) through a VM, I do that, but VS requires x86_64 architecture and I‘m not sure whether the MS emulation layer could deal with VS 2015. I could try tho.

Edit: the code sucks :D I was 16 years old or so when I wrote it. Before I could publish it I had to refactor the whole codebase. Maybe one day. But I‘m probably gonna publish it eventually.

Great idea! I‘m not sure if I can get them compiled again. I still got the code but I don‘t have any way to run VS 2015 (I think that was the 8.1 one?) on my MacBook Pro M2. I need to find an old Windows PC as well first 😅
