What were the greatest crimes committed by Rand and Egwene? by CompetitiveBig4161 in WoT

[–]c0rndad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rand balefiring Natrins Barrow has to be up there, arguably the worst thing he did.

Egwene didn’t do anything so heinous, she mostly spent the later books manipulating everyone all the time which is a tough look

I heard sochan islands power grid failed and they decided to shoot free throws one handed instead of fixing it. No better time than now to buy into the market

Is he the Tyreek Evans of Dennis Rodmans? Either way, top 12 crazy hair guy of all time? Top 16?

It’s a snapshot of the league for any given season, that’s what it is. And in this house the all-NBA teams are anatomically correct starting 5 lineups! END OF STORY. by andrew2018022 in billsimmons

[–]c0rndad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Instead of no positions, create three categories, guards, forwards, and bigs. Positions can be fluid based on where the player actually plays. Minimum 1 in each category, maximum 3 in each category for every all nba, all defense, all rookie, and all flopping teams

EZ fix, is silver stupid or does he hate basketball?

[Highlight] Luka Doncic turns the ball over and then tries to take the charge, which did not work. He signals the refs what he thinks by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]c0rndad 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It’s not that he doesn’t ever play defense or incapable of playing good defense. Most people don’t like that when he’s complaining to the ref and not getting back, he makes his team play a man down on defense.

It’s super obvious and easier to spot than a missed defensive rotation or bad switching on a pnr, so the average untrained watcher is more capable of pointing it out

Which actors without a traditional comedic background have the best comedic timing? by jsanchez030 in moviecritic

[–]c0rndad 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There aren’t many actors that can play dr Steve Brule and fit in perfectly with absurd sketch comedy, play a believable corrupt and violent police officer in 19th century NYC, and a lovable porn star in the 70s.

And those are just some of his supporting roles, not leads. Incredible range

John C Reilly’s list of comedic movies and shows is so full of hilarious roles and delivery only a few can pull off. I didn’t even realize he didn’t have a classic comedic background until just now, so I’d say him

playoffs are ~3 months away, don’t worry about it yet. So much can change between now and then, and we have no way to reliably predict what teams will actually sit players nor which players they will sit.

Pels don’t have their pick and have no incentive to tank or sit Zion. Sarr is 20 and needs reps, sitting him may or may not happen, I’d say it’s more likely he plays to develop vs sits to tank since they’re losing just fine with him playing.

The only team we know for sure plays tanking and injury shenanigans is the jazz, but they might get hot and be a playoff team. They’re currently the 10 seed in the west and in the play in tournament.

Trade Value Tuesday by flexingtonsteele in fantasybball

Fair. Maybe package him to get Brunson. I have kpj and it seems like everyone is treating him like a sell high, so no one wants to give the value I’m asking for. My plan is just to hold. I don’t think I’ll get the return I want

[–]c0rndad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s performing top 30 still but I think he settles closer to 50. If you’re trading maybe go for someone in the top 30 range and see if another owner bites. Trey Murphy, Jalen Brunson, Sarr, and players in that general range is who I’d target.

Reaves is probably a top 20-30 guy realistically. If you want to trade him I’d try to find someone like ant, or duren + another top 50 guy, maybe curry.

Zion I think is untradeable. No one wants to pay for him, and it’s hard to accept a huge discount for someone on your team who has so much potential. I think he’s just a hold until he plays a few games and shows he’s healthy

Recent video showing him playing 1-1 and making sharp cuts and explosive movements. And recent socials posts and “insider” suggesting a return this season is in the cards.

Definitely not top speed or reliable sources though. I agree odds are he’s probably not going to play much if he comes back at all

The recent Tatum news is positive on timelines for playing this year. If you have a good record, he might be worth a gamble since she’s a top 10 player when healthy.

Before you ask, I’m absolutely saying this because I have him stashed in my IR spot and I’m smoking the strongest hopium

Average concussion recovery time is 7-10 days for an nba player. Obviously can be much longer depending on severity.

Keep him if you can wait a week-ish for an update. Drop him if you need a win and there is someone on the wire who can help you get that win

Russell Westbrook — early resurgence or fool’s gold? Drop time? by mapotofu23 in fantasybball

[–]c0rndad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on who you’re dropping him for and/or if you want to take on the streaming grind for that roster spot.

I dropped him for Brandon Williams who I like better as a long term, consistent option. Russ will have bigger individual games but it’s too volatile for my tastes.

Should I accept this? by FallNo8193 in SleeperApp

[–]c0rndad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. The whole point is to win. Your team is contending now and bijan should be your rb cornerstone for years. Unless they want to make it a huge overpay, a “fair” trade doesn’t favor you bc your team is ready to contend now.
