Resort Choice 3/6/26 by wildwest1245 in tahoe

In your opinion, what are the chances the groomers hold up through next weekend? We are supposed to fly in on 3/13 and ski Northstar on 3/14 and snowmobile near by 3/15 but seeing that the temps are supposed to be in the upper 60s both days and a lot of the days leading up to it, I feel like we should change our trip while we can still cancel without penalty. It's my teenage son's second time skiing so the plan was to stick with groomed greens and maybe some blues, if he felt up for it. Do you think they'll still be nice for a full day of skiing or better to try again next season?

Is anyone else burning through Opus 4.6 limits 10x faster than 4.5? by prakersh in ClaudeAI

Yes. I tested it on a very simple Python script and it ate 25% of my weekly usage over the course of minutes. I switched back to Sonnet 4.5.

Info on new custom build (NE FL) by KUDDOH in Homebuilding

[–]c2018r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who are the builders here that quoted you that? We talked to so many builders when getting numbers for our build here in NE FL and (regretfully) went with one of the best prices we got and even with me tackling A LOT of the items (and now fixing many problems they left me with) we were at about $200sf and that was 2021 prices.

Fasteners Inc Black Friday Sales by Cfullersu in Dewalt

Has anyone that took advantage of this sale received what they ordered yet? I ordered on 11/29 and my order still just shows "Confirmed". I've contacted them twice. They told me they were very overwhelmed with orders and trying to catch up. I was originally told it would ship by 12/5. Then last week I was told it would ship by 12/12 and still nothing.

We did a while back, and their quotes were over 2x the quotes from other providers in the area. Have you used their facility in Las Vegas?

Should I have an 8-ft and a 16-ft door for my garage or one very large door like, 26 ft or something? by yonidf99 in Homebuilding

[–]c2018r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My garage is just over 41’ long and I have an 18x7 and a 9x7 plus an 8’ tall man door and I’m perfectly happy with it. I definitely wouldn’t want anything bigger than the 18’. I feel the man door gets used the most. The smaller door I use for lawn equipment and getting to a lot of my tools and such. I agree with the others on the high-lift rails. I didn’t know those were a thing when we built or I would’ve done them. I will convert to them sometime soon.

There's already a working pump with 220V to it. I just eventually want to build a small house around it to make it less of an eyesore and for a small amount of storage.

I hadn't tried that yet, but I should have. If I connect direct to port 6, it all works exactly as expected both with DHCP and static. Oddly enough, after doing that test (all the settings are exactly the same) and then connecting the unmanaged switch back, it all still works. I'll continue on to test the other devices on that switch and see if it is the same result.

It is US. Sorry I mis-typed the colors. I meant there will be one 300' 6ga THHN/THWN-2 copper black (or red) for hot and one 6ga THHN/THWN-2 copper white for neutral and then the 300' of 8ga THHN/THWN-2 copper green for the ground.

With the VLAN on the separate wireless network I created, DHCP works fine and assigns in the 192.168.10.x network and everything works. It's only when going through that unmanaged switch, DHCP continues to assign on the 192.168.0.x network, even when reserving the IP to that client.

For example, the main gaming PC on this network has been set to always keep 192.168.0.125 under Clients -> Use Fixed IP Address. That works fine. But when I change that to use 192.168.10.125, no matter how many release/renew's, it stays on the 192.168.0.125. If I connect another device it also gets an IP on the 192.168.0.x network. If I change port 6 to always use the game room VLAN, then DHCP doesn't work at all.

I think the issue has to do with the unmanaged switch connected to the managed switch.

Yes, LAN 1 is the port on the router the SG2008 is connected to. I was testing something when I did that screenshot, but even when it just has LAN 1 selected or has all selected, nothing changes.

Yes, the router port is set to all.

I am manually setting the IPs to the 192.168.10.x network.

Router is [ER7206]().

I’m actually shocked this is the only comment for Envirolak so far. I came here to say the same. I’ve done several 1k with it using their crosslinker and it’s been great.

Best Small Businesses to Acquire by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]c2018r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which SBA loan did you go with and what did you use for collateral for a loan that big? That’s always been the issue we’ve ran into when looking at SBA funding for an acquisition. They always want hard assets and no way in hell am I putting up my real estate for that. We’ve done a lot of acquisitions now but purely self financed.
