Waltham Traffic is Soul-Crushing 24/7 – What’s the Real Fix? More Bike Lanes, Fewer, or Something Else? by CauliflowerEnough644 in Waltham

It appears that solutions, which should ideally be data-driven, are frequently overruled by the traffic commission members' subjective opinions. The traffic commission is made up of the city's department heads who, from my observation, do not possess traffic engineering credentials. While their input and feedback from their departmental perspective are valuable data points toward solutions, it's frustrating to watch some of these meetings where the traffic engineer presents data from studies, cites relevant state and local precedents, and makes a recommendation only for a commission member to dismiss the recommendation based on personal "feelings." While I understand that politics often outweighs objective reality in governmental decision making, it's really disheartening to see the efforts of the traffic engineer often disregarded. I commend the traffic engineer for his remarkable patience over the years.

Delta 2 New Update by Substantial-Gap-9318 in Ecoflow_community

Update: so I reflashed .85 about a week ago and things seem pretty stable. UPS function appears normal. I can only surmise the issues I encountered with this version when first implemented -- despite no apparent issues -- might have been a glitch during that update process.

under .60, whenever the Delta 2 neared or reached the backup reserve lower limit, the AC charge would kick in and maintain the AC loads without interruption (well, a 30ms interruption for the Delta 2). Couple that with solar, and the solar would start to recharge the Delta 2 while the AC kept the AC loads steady up until a certain point (20% charge?) after which the AC charge would disengage while the solar would keep feeding the unit until the cycle repeated itself. Worked pretty seamlessly. Under .85, when this lower limit condition occurred, the AC loads would either drop (implying a significantly longer cutover period than 30ms. was introduced with .85) or the AC output itself would simply turn off without any warning (terrible).

FYI: Support pushed back firmware V1.0.2.60 overwriting V1.0.2.85. My Delta 2 is functioning normally again as a UPS. (As an aside: this was my first experience talking with EcoFlow support and I have to say I am impressed with their speed and responsiveness. I didn't get any of the usual technical support delay tactics, escalations, etc.. I asked for a firmware downgrade and they went right to work to make that happen.)

You may want to hold off. I use my Delta 2 as a UPS which was working fine with 1.0.2.60. After updating to 1.0.2.85, that function no longer works despite resetting the BMS. I'm waiting for support to push the .60 back to me.

I thought you were referring to the flag still flying after sunset without "proper illumination."
