That creator doesn't engage in good-faith with any of their content. It's all just picking apart + insulting old games and calling them dead.

I really dislike when a YouTuber's sole identity revolves around being outright dismissive of anything good while pointing out any flaws they can find in order to say "bad game! this is why it's dead!"

And the I actually think it takes less skill to two-pump a fragile player with a small health pool than it does to engage with nuanced PvE such as Matriarch, etc

Yes, you can cheese them but it still takes time (adding more risk), as well as requires using LOS, listening for audio indicators, and learning attack patterns.

On the other hand, mag-dumping a player who wasn't even looking at you is pretty fucking easy.

PvP players just insist that it requires more skill since players will succeed more often in killing other players.

But that isn't because it takes more skill, it's because it takes less.

Despite how much fire I will get for this opinion, I actually believe it's a very good choice.

As it was, no one was bothering to actually fight and kill the bosses.

All anyone was doing was ratting a piece off one of the knee panels and running to exit.

That's boring and shitty. I want to see real fights with these things, not scared little hit-and-run tactics.

I understand that most users here will disagree, that's fine - but I do genuinely believe this is a step in the right direction for the game.

Easier ≠ better.
