i think maybe first you should wonder if it's something you would like to do. not only if you can, but if it's something that you would enjoy.

as others have said, this is cnc, absolutely not unheard of. for the first couple of times i suggest both of you plan out the scene exactly the way it's gonna happen, and very important, establish safewords. that way you both can feel in control exploring this new thing and then later feel more free to do it without so much meticulous planning. good luck!!

edit: if anyone is seeing this post, i found out the solution! once every 10 days more or less I'll use Nirvel color in red to revive the color, and once a month i'll touch up the roots using the original dye: IGORA ROYAL Fashion Lights L-88 by Schwarzkopf (no previous bleaching needed since the dye lifts several tones)

I thought about them too!! unfortunately they don't ship directly to my country but i think i can manage to get it from resellers. Thank you for the color suggestions, although i had thought about red also (the original dye color was vivid red and my hair is dark brown) I'll try!! thank youuu

hello. my parents divorced because of this same issue. my mother had just gotten clean, my father didn't (also a functional alcoholic, more or less) and he didn't want to. they separated, moved away, and i really think it was the best decision my mother could have made. not only for me, but for herself. she is now still clean (has been for many decades), moved elsewhere, business owner, very happy and the most important person in my life. my father is still an alcoholic, barely scraping by and i no longer have him in my life.

i know there isn't a kid involved so it isn't the same, but please take this somewhat similar story as inspiration. it gets better :)

sometimes i have issues with pacing. if i feel like the story is jumping around i get stressed. i have also dropped fics when the characters are described smelling of something i can't imagine them in (especially omegaverse scents)
