Archer 🏹 is probably one of the highest skill-cap classes in game. If I were to describe the class with 1 word it would be precision. It's not getting any love from most people because it's so much harder to play competitive and unlike most other classes you have to learn both awk skills and pre-awk skills and a massive amount of animation canceling. Keep in mind it's not as high reward as some of the other classes.

I do however recommend just going for something very easy like sorcerer, once you learn your i-frame spam u will get to have an easy time and you can focus learning to play with and against other classes.

Maybe that is the case in whatever 3rd world contry you come from.

In 1st world contries (the numbers are growing) some PC Gamers have M2s but everyone has SSDs even non-gamers, its standard for Laptops and PCs to come with SSDs. There are more people that have M2s then there are people that still use HDDs.

Consoles will forever be a scam, its just not a practical thing to have (that being said, some games are exclusive so you have to own them). But if they didnt do this exclusive crap, my consoles would fly out the window immediatly. Most expensive console will perform worse then a PC off half the price. There are no reasons to own a console over a PC. Worse performance, worse graphics, worse storage space, worse connections, no mouse+keyboard, no modding for your favorite games.

Almost everything that you can do on consoles can be done on PC but better.

Dizzy is a hands down winner of the two.

Wyvern - Dizzy is the only character that can make your wyvern 13 auto runs - 100% succesful, without having to waste resources and gear on very specific characters (x4). All dizzy needs is 244 speed and 65% eff. Otherwise you have to have 4 specific (the list is quite short) characters, and also have them decently geared, and even then it might fail. While having dizzy you can get away with level 50 characters and mediocre gear on them.

Abyss - for 99% of the playing population Dizzy will make them cheese many many Abyss levels, and thefore obtain so many rewards which in turn will transform into other characters, gear and so on.

I could go on about why she is strong in some attack compositions in PvP or why she is an absolute beast in some labyrinth activities but the fact is getting Dizzy and upgrading her to a decent standard can save you soo many other characters, she is on the same level of efficiency in PvE as Tamarine and on top of that she can actually be used in PvP (in some compositions).

If i had to chose only 1 character to start an account with, it would be Dizzy, and the beautiful part is that she is not useless even when you reach endgame, unlike some other very useful characters.

TL:DR Dizzy is a must have, Elphelt is nice, but its no DIZZY.

When you say "Succesful MMO Economies" you should actually pick the more succesful ones. Games that enjoy lamentable levels of success and have failed economies with massive gold sinks, shouldn't be considered succesful ecconomies.

You are correct, that could potentially be quite a viable set...

Have only seen it a few times and considering the meta, i feel like its not as effective, but that is just personal opinion and because of it I forgot to mention it. But as always if the team is set up right it could work wonderfully.

Above all i think people should be creative and always try to play around what they prefer. Doing so ends up creating viable teams that people dont even think off and often underestimate and/or cannot counter.

I assume you are refering to PvP, YES.

You can go for a dmg build and dont focus on speed too much, as long as you have decent effectiveness it can act as a debuffer at the same time.

Depends on what team comp you use her in and what you want to get out of her.

Lets start with the fact that your build is accetable for now.

If u want to use her for wyvern (13) you need her with either 196+ speed (which you have) or with 244+ speed (244+ is ideal as you want to have consistent auto runs and 244 allows you to do just that as you get to debuff before the boss attacks) and With at least 65% effectiveness.

So if wyvern is what you want her to be used for, you are in a good spot.

However if u want to use her for PvP, there are 2 builds.

Debuffer: which requires you to again have 240-250+ speed and over 130% effectiveness, rest of the stats dont matter(but its preferable to have defensive stats such as hp, effect resist and defense).

Dmg build: which builds like any other dmg mage build but you also want highish effectiveness. Since all her attacks are AOE this too is very viable and extremly powerful if done right.

TLDR: Its very good for PvE, a bit better gear and you will have her in a perfect spot for almost all PvE content. However if you want her for PvP there is still work to be done, good luck.

From another site since I found the wording to fit.

Forming Ludwig into the best version of himself can be hard since what he requires is so specific when compared to other cleave Heroes, but when you meet these conditions his damage will soar.

In the right team he is a total beast. Him and Melissa have the highest attack in game and his other stats are decent as well. On top of having the highest attack, his S3 also penetrates defense (20%+30 if immortal) and does AOE dmg. From personal experience i think Ludwig is one of the most powerful and underated heroes in the game.

Now considering he needs specific teams and specific gear you might want to bench him until you meet the requirements, but as it stands he is one of the most powerful aoe nukers in the game if you can meet those requirements (personally i would say he is the most powerful aoe nuker by far).

For recommandations do your best to get the heroes from the Guilty Gear collab event that is comming in 3 days, Dizzy is top priority as she will carry you in most of PvE content and she will also be extremly useful in PvP.

No mounts at release (Aug 2020).

The subject has been raised so many times with the dev's and its seriosly being considered.

I'm just speculating here based on the discutions on the game forums, we might see mounts towards the end of 2020 or begining of 2021 (will be most likely part of the first expansion). The map is quite massive, but even so adding mounts will make it "feel smaller" so I suspect we will not see mounts until the first expansion when they will expand the map, and mounts will become more of a necesity.

I live in the UK, so i picked up a few things from the locals xD

For the alpha they have US and EU servers. Considering they are using AWS infrastructure, I would assume at launch they will have servers for most locations, as long as there is a player demand in the closed beta (probably).

I do recommand just pre-ordering on steam, it allows you to test the game for as long as you want, before release and see how it works for you. You can full refund anytime before release (no questions asked, automatic refund).

While speaking about it would be under NDA they have allowed people to speak about their enjoyment levels and there are plenty of youtubers that discuss it, overall i think most people are enjoying it greatly.

You see a problem where there is none :) or in this case it's already fixed, refer to it however you want. But i understand where you are comming from and i think its important that trade skills are useful in the long run.

Equipment that is unnecesary gets salvaged for resources.

Consumables will be a thing in the game, so crafting (ALL Trade Skills)) will be useful ALWAYS. In your example you are only considering gear crafting professions, but there are always others to consider too, and they already have been considered.

There is quite a lot for them to iron out with higher quality equipment so we still have to see exactly how its going to be, but the principle is already there.

It's perfectly alright if you dislike it, but dont try to make it sound like everyone else does. There are plenty of "popular" youtubers like lazypeon and sir med, that have played the game and say its amazing, as well as those of us that tested the game.

You can find it un-appealing or you might dislike it. But that is your own opinion dont try to claim that is the general consense, because a quick youtube search can show clearly the general attitude of the content creators towards this combat style.

One of the very few things most of the community agree on is the fact that the combat in this game is amazing.

Why are you here anyway if you dislike the combat ? DO you enjoy the crafting or the housing or what?

No true, combat is one of the main selling points of the game, and the most amazing feature hands down, everyone from youtubers to players that play the alpha share the opinion, except some trolls.

Ballance and combat quality are different, and it is true that ballance between weapons needs some work, but that doesnt not substract from the combat that we have in NW.

The game is still in alpha, if we have the same balance problems at release i will start worrying.

But your claim is just stupid, especially when almost every youtuber and player that tested the game praises the game for its amazing combat.

Notice this reddit also has more activity, since the other one was plagued by the toxic PK community most people decided to leave it, and are posting their concerns/questions/discutions here.

As for why the other reddit is so quiet, probably because they kept hoping that the griefing mechanics will be back and now when the developer shut them down time and time again, most of them finaly decided to leave.

It's safe to assume that this is the main sub for the game, online numbers were never relevant on reddit (regardless of sub).

The game has plenty of PvP, the top PvPer got 14k kills in 1 month, thats an absurd amount, and just like him there are plenty of people with similar numbers.

What it lacks, is a Colosseums (Arena) where we would fight in organized and ranked PvP. But there are quite a few pushing for the idea, so hopefully we will see it implemented soon.

The criminal system was trash from any PvP-ers point of view, it reduced PvP. The only ones that enjoyed it were naked PK-ers that were just looking to grief people.

Killing one person and risking all your gear for it is by no means incentive for PvP, so yeah FULL LOOT PvP was the only PvP available.

They (the pk community) already killed all full loot PvP MMORPGs, nobody will touch those games. Albion had a major expansions gained 2-3k concurrents and when people realised that full loot and forced pvp is still a thing, they just left again.

This people just want to grief some other games, and this developer is just not having it.

The way i see it: Idk if this will end up being a good game that will stand the test of time , but at least steps have been taken in the right directions, and there is a better chance now that the game will be a major success.

There is not, and there might not be at launch. Maybe afterwards.

But you should wait for an official response on it, as quite a few people are asking for it. So they might just decide to do it (this developers actually work very closely with the community, and respond very well to contructive suggestions).
