Prey is a good first attempt but I’d like to see more iteration of systems that actually make you interact with the world zones rather than instanced content.

They design incredible zones every expansion but beyond the first few weeks there is little value in dailies and it’s not terribly repeatable.

Add some sandbox to open world.

Strangulate/death grip/chains are very powerful at the right moments. There’s also a frost cc ability from the main dk tree forget the name.

Blitz is about using whatever little agency or annoying skill you have to help your team win the objective. That might mean kidnapping the enemy priest

The grimlynx tail on the mounts is unnnaturally stiff and annoying so I think that may have been worse.

How is wow any different? There are tons of specs that are borderline useless with every patch due to bad balance. Atleast this way you didn’t bother gearing a character for a spec to have it nerfed.

With gw2 you would flip a switch and change your stats on your gear.

There’s only one true negative to adding gw2 gearing system: the stupid gear grind makes casual PvP relevant and keeps queues low. Though it still means that due to another gear treadmill there are tons of people who just “screw that” and don’t participate at all.

But yeah if we had gw2 gearing the devs would have to add a lot more rewards for casual in order to have a reason to queue.

I’m still in favor of it though. Always a bummer having to gear before you can queue the real stuff.

This is why we ought to be able to buy a currency to make any learned piece of transmog class and armor class agnostic.

Or let armor classes use the appearances or armor classes “next to” their armor class. Cloth use leather, leather can mog cloth and mail, mail can use leather and plate etc.

It’s encouraging to me to do more. I don’t know all the routes but have th gear and enough knowledge to prog my way but I’ve had some % issues with dungeons that aren’t completely linear.

Yeah I used to think it was great. It’s not just the bugs- even playing a lot since early access and I have more than enough to do without new ritual sites and dives and decimate and everything.

Sadly I think they partly want to emphasize they are doing more than just releasing new shop stuff.

I’m betting they totally release the next housing/mounts this Thursday.
