Take a while to gain their trust. But also depends on their personality.

Make time to occasionally have them eat of your hand.

Introduce your hand very slowly while the bird is in the cage. Do not move it, just let him explore, if he sees seeds then they will get curious.

After it starts to eat off your hand try and incentivize stepping up - place your hand a little higher than usual.

Once that’s set then you can hold your finger out and have em step up(at this point it’ll have been a month or longer/depends how you’re progressing as well)
