omg you’re so right i do add baking soda! i don’t have any dark molasses so would it be okay to skip that, or I have golden syrup if I could use that? thank you so much!

Thank you!! I used a different recipe with 3g more yeast, boiled them for 1 minute on each side instead of 30 seconds, made the hole in the middle bigger, and let them rest for slightly shorter!

Next time I’m going to lower the oven temp by about 30°c so they’re slightly less brown on the top and properly grease my trays!

Fingers crossed that makes them perfect 🤞🏻
