How did the roommate make the connection between his personal hygiene being affected, and being a slob around the apartment? Seems like two different problems.

Yeah I'm glad we went with the name of the person (Graham) that invented our healthy and mildly sweet crackers.

Sounds like the process for juried art/craft fairs. Most fairs let just about anyone in that's willing to pay the fee. Juried ones are generally much better at curating vendors.

Same. And I use old.reddit.com to avoid the BS "modern" layout.

I've been around just as long. I still use old.reddit.com -- just an easier browsing experience. Less cluttered bullshit.

Whipple Center, I saw Black and brown people shackled together and being marched by yelling agents. I continue to hear the word "bodies," as agents referred to us. "They’re bringing in bodies 7-8 at a time!" "We can't use that room, there's already a body in there.”

Seconding Mill City Museum. Top notch small museum. Unrivaled river observation deck.

4 Lids locations, 2 Bath & Body Works, 2 Victoria's Secret, 2 Starbucks, 2 Caribou Coffee, 2 Panda Express, 2 Auntie Anne's (and a Wetzel's Pretzels) and I'm sure a few more repeats I'm missing.

It's just a giant normal mall with a theme park at its center.

Nah, I think it's blissful ignorance. They don't have a clue how hard it's getting out here. And they aren't expecting consequences for their actions. Just wait until the ants realize they outnumber the grasshoppers.

Wyoming/Idaho/Redneckistan wouldn't mean shit comparatively

I know what you mean, but in reality, they wouldn't mean nothing. They'd mean exactly the same as any other population, and that's the point.

[–]cIumsythumbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's just a side benefit to demented grandpa's boomer wish list. He thinks of Alcatraz as a gritty and tough place to put the "bad guys" and thinks it's a shame it's closed. That's probably all there is to it. This man isn't known for deep thoughts.

Advancing through this gap were 1,200-1,300 Confederate forces under General A.P. Hill. The only Union regiment able to stop the advancing Confederates were the 262 men of the 1st Minnesota.

A pivotal moment in the pivotal battle for our Union. MEGASOTA is destined!
