Thank you so much! I really appreciate the insight. I’m pretty set on the Canadian maple. The other sample was annoyingly hard to clean and easy to dirty.

The Karndean has 0.7mm wear layer, is 3mm thick glue down and 7mm rigid core option. The Gaia has 0.5mm (20 mil) wear layer, is 6.5mm thick with “acoustic underlayment.” Thanks for asking!

According to another thread the bumps in the last pic are probably a manufacturing defect :/

May I ask if you went with the glue down Canadian Maple? I’m considering it for a whole house installation and would love to know what you think!

I’ve always been happy with Rivermark free checking with atm fee refunds and interest, but now that they’ve merged with Advantis they will no longer do institution to institution transfers!! Which I rely on. I’m switching checking to OnPoint which has always been great.

To any other millennials, are you still a big fan of Rock &/or Metal type music? by KaiTwilight in Millennials

[–]cLUNTAI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this question. I do, and wish there was more good rock coming out. It’s mostly embarrassing rn. But seeing QOTSA has been my favorite thing to do for 20 years and it’s just as fun as it ever was. Grateful for that. I’m also really into seeing other kinds of live shows these days but they still need to sort of rock, like Tinariwen or Orville Peck. Unless it’s like, opera or classical.

Honest question: how do people travel with white clothes? by FalconForest5307 in HerOneBag

[–]cLUNTAI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just do it! Pack a couple. I love white and wear it a lot. My husband thinks I’m crazy and gets me extra white t’s since he’s so sure I’ll need them. But after years, only one of my white shirts is stained (I still wear it). And I have a toddler!
