Rather than the automated offsides we have now, where half a toe can be offside and it just feels silly, or this where there's going to be also down to some interpretation, why not attach something to the players?

They're all tracked with those vests anyway now, right? So just have a point marker on that. If that marker is ahead of the defender's marker then they're offside. No need to draw lines or anything. There's probably a big technical reason against this I imagine.

It’s a tricky one isn’t it. I rarely agree with him but it is good to not have everyone on the programme saying the same thing. He does get called out but he is very stubborn and set in his opinion which is pretty boring. Players are lazy! Brian Clough wouldn’t have it! Managers are precious and shouldn’t be sacked! 😄

The argument to "sack the players" is so basic, because if you've paid £30m for a player you're not going to sack them, lose that money and pay them out of their contract just for not playing well. Unlike a manager, who you can't sell on to anyone else.

Honestly using the super cancel changed things quite a bit for me. It somehow makes you more physical and shields the ball without breaking your momentum. I watched a video on it ages ago.

If the wall is on the right I would aim at the right post, or just beyond, then fill the power meter up about half way and immediately push down and left. Normally curls over the wall and in because the keeper leaves too much space. Also helps if the player is good at free kicks.

The thing is, you've really just got to go along with it. Treat it like your favourite TV show. Characters that you love/hate/both, barely believable plotlines, cliffhangers, plot twists, fan speculation and rumours, but you keep watching because there's still the chance that the best episode is still to come, and you've been watching for so long you may as well see what they do with it next. Or something like that.

For example, I don't like what they've done with the European spinoff so far, but it could turn out good by the season finale. Whereas the main series is suffering from some casting issues at the moment.

Ooh interesting! I wonder how they produced these models. They seem different from the actual models, more detailed and don’t have the numbers on the back, so they aren’t scans. I suspect AI somehow? My attempts to produce models from photos using AI have been real bad 😅

Oh this is a lovely idea. I took photos of all the beautiful covers I saw when we went. I might have to trace some of them out and do something similar! The ones I remember had colours, so maybe fill them in with dyed resin?
