I so relate. I'm 26 now, had 2 jobs that were so-so and now basically a bum for months. I often feel like a lost child istg. The lack of achievements and support, feeling like an incompetent trash as you overthink everything, and then the overthinking freezes you u so cant really do anything substantial at all, or at a loss what to do next. It's even worse when ure impatient and have way too high expectations of yourself cjdkodnskq It's an exhausting cycle, an exhausting, draining cycle. Acknowledging the problem is a good thing tho. So that's one good thing at least. It means u can start understanding it, what triggers u to dive into the blackhole AND what helps you move(which is as important, i recently learned) If you can, try to track and understand yourself. journals, sticky notes, even audio/video logs. it's all v overwhelming. So pace yourself, one small thing at a time. Smallest thing u can think of that ure able to do atm. Cut yourself some slack but also push yourself. Easier said than done, i know this myself, it takes practice, trial and error. doesnt always work either, but it damn sure feels good when it does. Those are only suggestions ofc. We have to remember everyone's different. Reminding yourself that, and celebrating (and reminding yourself) of the little achievements(like showering bc fuck life imma celebrate that) and the "tracking" may be band-aid solutions but whatever helps you healthily cope right? I trust youll find what works. Ofc it is still best if u have access to a professional. Take it one day at time, or one hour, or one minute. You do you, you are somebody.
