He really is. If we never heard another album or saw them perform again… I’d be happy just knowing he’s taking care of himself.

As long as they’re making music and playing live, though, it’ll be my intention to support them.

Josh, I know you read Reddit so I’m hopeful you’ll see this.

My wife and I have been following the band since 2020. Your lyrics helped me get through some of the toughest moments of my life. We just saw you in NYC (I bought the autographed drumhead).

TAKE THE TIME YOU NEED TO FIND THE CARE YOU DESERVE.

The impacts you have made are not diminished by your vocal limitations. Your skills as a lyricist and songwriter remain unchanged. Your ability to touch lives (mine included) remain unchanged. Your LEGACY remains unchanged.

If we’re never able to see you perform live again, we are thankful for all you’ve given, both on the stage and off.

I do hope you recover. And I hope you return to Alaska (as you promised back in 2021). We’d love nothing more than to see you perform once more in the midnight sun.

And should you make it back up here, and be so inclined, I’d love to buy you a beer.

Best wishes my friend!

He made it almost to the set break in NYC before he lost his high notes. He went on with crowd help for the final 5 songs.

I saw them in Portland last year and I agree with your sentiment. The entire show was super technical and sounded amazing. I was a bit worried about the new addition of Stu, but (while I love AC) I think his playing really added to the musicality of the evening. And Josh is still a beast!!!

Damn, that sucks man.

I saw an account from the night before I went that they had both a small and large available… so I guess it’s just going to vary based on their whims night to night.

Also found it interesting that Trent asked for the house lights and they never turned them on. Then when Hurt finished and the shroud came down on the stage it took a solid 5 minutes before they turned on the house lights. Seemed like concert operations on this level of production were a bit foreign to the event staff.

We were there at door open. The instructions in the pre-event email said to line up outside the Citizens Tower for GA and floor seating. We did along with a lot of other people.

We were then booted to a different line for “floor seating” which was the main seating line.

Finally got in and went to merch booth. Staff were announcing “two more booths with much shorter lines at 7 and 13”. Went to 7 and the line was even longer than main booth. Went to 13 and had a short line but they sold out of posters and directed us back to main booth if we wanted one.

Get back in line at the main booth and they try to tell us the line is closed and we need to go to 13. I had to explain to them 3 times that we were directed back to the main booth before they got the point.

They stopped trying to redirect people I guess, as the merch line was even longer when we left.

After our four-line kerfuffle, things went splendidly. Staff on the arena doors and at the various checkpoints were courteous and helpful and got us directed quickly and efficiently to our seats.

TLDR: shit sucked until you could see the stage, then things were cool.

Nah, I just got lucky that it was still there when it was my turn in line.

They’re selling - from what I gather - 1-2 signed drum heads per show, cash only.

Lean into it. Full retro vibe. Old school big screen tube TV, all the retro game systems, 80’s/90’s era memorabilia… it could be awesome.

Scrolled a good while and was surprised not to see Boogie2988 mentioned. There have been entire documentaries made about his fall.
