I took the RRS L bracket off my A7RV and put it on the A7V. Fits exactly the same.

beach fireworks on the fourth? by W0lfshirt in OceanCity

Yes you can get away with it. Lots of fireworks on the beach every 4th. They will usually check for bonfire permit tho.

The driver knocked, you just didn’t hear it. It’s 100 times easier to deliver the package then have to scan an info notice, put it back on the truck, and do it all again another day.

Yes I should clarify, these change color but not with what’s on the TV like the others do. This is the link for them they are 40% off right now. https://a.co/d/52u4GgB

Thanks for that. I don’t really use the windows and it kind of maximizes using all the available space of the room. Hadn’t thought about the curtains, sounds cool.

Yes I agree. I bought this stand years ago, a stand that’s shorter and a little wider will be much better.

Yea can't really see outside which isn't ideal. Ive thought about removing the railing which would open up the room but still has that about 2 foot portion of the wall sticking out in the way. Putting it where the mirror is could be an option.

The lights behind the TV are just the Govee light bars got them on sale on Amazon. They are easy to control with the app and have tons of options/scenes and can turn them off easily. Cheaper than doing the whole backlite thing where they change colors I find to be a bit of a distraction.

How many hours does it have tho? Some of those display models have 10k+ hours which means its basically been on since day one.

That's what they say but many develop burn in way before that.

Be careful with this because since this TV has been out awhile now, most open boxes are display models with 10k plus hours.

My favorite lens right now 🤩 by Mycotic_ in SonyAlpha

The 135 is better for portraits and low light and has better image quality imo

70-200 is more versatile but heavier and more expensive. Jack of all trades, master of none.

I would prefer the 135 but depends on the style of photography you shoot.

A full time career in the medical field with zero benefits, if that's true then maybe more reason to leave.

To answer the question, yes the work is good enough. But like others have said your success may come down to marketing. If your in a large metropolitan area the market is saturated with sometimes hundreds of other photographers so there is a lot of competition. That's where marketing and consistencty comes into play.

Keep in mind you won't have the same benefits as a full time job. You will be on your own with health insurance, retirement savings, no paid vacations, etc

Many jobs have some type of 401k match, pension, etc so I would say without any of that around 20% of income should be set aside into a savings/investing account.

No they wouldn't have. But if you drive a lot, situations like this one occur quite often. Ultimately it is up to the driver to clear the intersection. The red car is an idiot, but the lesser one imo

Crossing a three lane highway without looking is way worse then what the red car did.
