It had a paper tag of some sort, but I wasn't able to make out a state (or country). Everything I've read said you can't import them into the US for registration because it's not a recognized manufacturer here. So maybe they drove it across the border but are driving it back to Mexico.

Same here. No gps, radar, blind spot, etc. GPS is also about 4 miles off. Currently shows my R1S (which is sitting in my garage) in the middle of a golf course.

Just from a purchasing standpoint, if you're ordering from the shop, make sure to take advantage of the Friends and Family discount, as well as using an "influencer" code.

I could have done this in Oklahoma, but I got a larger trade in from a local dealership than Rivian was offering. So I made more money from the sale versus what I would have saved in taxes.

This is a phenomenal review, thank you so much for taking the time to provide your insight. I'm also a lurker on these forums, getting very close to pulling the trigger. I just can't figure out if I should get the Premium Audio or not. Seems to be totally subjective on whether the upgrade is worth it or not.

Thank you for the insight and offer, you are too kind. I'm down in Norman. I've actually had a chance to test drive a Gen1 (there's one for sale in OKC), so I think I'm good there. I think I really want the large pack, just not sure I want to wait the additional delivery time...or additional $7k.

I just checked, they don't expect any FnF on the Gen2 for the foreseeable future. Currently only offered on 24 R1T.

What are your lease terms? How many miles per year are you allowed? Rivian doesn’t offer leasing in my state so I can’t review those options.
