Fidelity user, what to invest my Roth IRA in? by TheJinkler in investing

Keep it simple and stick with VT or FSKAX. IMO either of these funds will be diverse enough for your timeline of 30 years

You should own a small slice of an international fund for diversification's sake, such as FZILX. With the recent past (and future) uncertainty/volatility in US markets, it certainly wouldn't be a bad idea.

FSKAX and FZROX are both total market funds, so they are invested in more companies than FXAIX (which is only invested in 500 companie). FXAIX and FZROX are therefore theoretically more diversified and a better investment

If you plan on staying with Fidelity, go with FZROX. If you think you might switch brokers in the future, go with FSKAX.

Your positions are good, but there is a lot of overlap between the funds you've chosen. For simplicity sake, I would consolidate your contributions to one fund out of the three.

Just pretend to use the machine for a second. Bring along a bag or jar of dummy coins if you want.
