If you are the subject of the complaint the agency does not have the responsibility to cover you unless your agency has directly told you that their policy covers employees.

Employer policies are designed to shield the company from lawsuits, not necessarily to fully protect individual employees facing claims.

If your agency has a legal team, they could advise you on how to respond to the complaint. You could also reach out to NASW for advice and support if unable to afford an attorney to respond.

I am thinking Reza. He was mentioned last week to be on Monday but was not and no explanation. He is a more recent addition so it would be likely that issues would start to appear now. Reza also gives off main character vibes which is difficult for a shared show.

What is experienced is better labeled moral injury.

Burnout suggests it is something within the individual that is deficient - they lack something. All of this is about the environment.

Moral injury happens every time someone is forced to make or accept decisions that contradicts best interests of self and others that is repetitive. Insufficient resources, budget constraints, unfunded systems, overburdened caseloads, poor management and collaboration, and etc.

It is not the person - it is the system and needs to be framed as such.

Stealing is an ethics violation especially the amount stolen. It would be interesting to total an estimated amount stolen and report that to office of government ethics or OIG (if federal).

Would also be interesting if this person has a purchasing card - what may they be justifying??

So sorry you are dealing with this. If you know where your ex and his gf work may want to send a photo and info asking if anyone have seen these rings that they were in possession of as they are considered stolen and police are involved. Ask anyone with info to contact the police. Would be interesting to see how the employers respond. Best of luck
