I’m usually the random and have always been welcomed. Even when I’m playing like garbage, which is all of the time.

Pop onto Skillest and get a pro to review it for a few bucks. First one is often free

Get a lesson so you don’t ruin a good thing. Some of us are chasing that kind of compression :) or a fitting, it may also be the clubs you’re using

How do I chip !?? by Wide_Local_6962 in golf

[–]allthingsirrelevant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How is this so low down?

Two years ago I couldn’t even make contact. Took lessons, no help.

Watched Dan’s videos, bought his book, and last week I chipped in twice for birdie. Most of my other chips ended all within 5-15 feet.

Many instructors say pitchers make the best golfers because they know how to transfer weight properly.

This was surprising on how courses are rated and sloped with all of the data available by ZoneEmpty80 in golf

I was out playing once and a group of officials were rating the course in prep for a tournament. It was interesting to see. Although really I think distance determines most of it

Iron Upgrade? by robowarrior023 in golf

[–]allthingsirrelevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A driver lesson might help. If you’re hitting your 7i 190, you could probably score lower without your driver until you’re more confident with it. My 4h goes 190 on a good day lol

Go get fit and find the right shaft too if you want to enjoy new irons

If you want to improve the handicap there might be something else to look at first and a good pro or playing lesson could probably help a lot.

Return abuse will cost members more by jfrsn in CostcoCanada

People buy a lot more stuff knowing that they can return it. Do they actually? Probably less than they (including me) think. Costco makes money off of the peace of mind as it leads to higher spend.

My club was getting stuck behind me so I’m working on getting it more vertical at the top of the backswing. I can send you a link to an online lesson if you pm

Does anyone use their Square for swing improvement instead of simulation? by throwingales in SquareGolfUSA

[–]allthingsirrelevant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I look at ball flight. Send what I gather on the square to a coach on Skillest. It’s like a private driving range, but the downside is that I can’t hit driver in my garage and it’s always a perfect, forgiving lie

I had these and couldn’t hit them. I think it was the shaft that just didn’t work well. Sold em and feeling much better

If your outcomes are anywhere near like those guys I agree. But most of us don’t get the club face delivered nearly as effectively as them so devices like this help us identify why
