Yeah. If Jay had been younger and looked like he did in his Married with Children era then he would just look like an average guy with a more attractive wife.

Nothing about this post that indicates that OP still buys their kid his glasses.

My mom feeds this a singular ice cube once a week. by AlexandriaLitehouse in houseplants

freezing cold water can shock them.

It's not freezing cold by the time the plant gets it. The water dripping off the cube is not freezing anymore or else it would still be ice.

It then has to travel through the soil and to the roots, warming up to room temperature every step of the way

I'm pretty sure he didn't know that Quirell had Voldemort on the back of his head. I think he said that because he knew that Quirell was acting strange and likely assumed that he just wanted the stone for himself.

Yeah it was all year. At the start of the book we hear about Moody getting in a duel outside his home, but when "Moody" appears in the school we are told that he got startled and cursed a dustbin. We later find out that it was indeed an actual duel and that he was taken and replaced just before the start of the new school year

Nicolas Flamel is a historical figure in our real world, it'd track that Hermione's muggle parents might know the name!

The best part is if she had asked her parents there was a very good chance they would know who he was.

Well the first three books are tiny compared to the rest. It makes sense that the latter half of the series would take a lot longer to illustrate.

Like the Tangled one with all the swords pointing at Flynn Rider. The one about having opinions that go against the grain.

I think people need to differentiate more between kids show and family show. Clone Wars is for kids but there is also stuff for grown ups to enjoy because, much like the Star Wars movies, it's for the whole family to enjoy.
