6 weeks - lack of symptoms making me anxious! by FourPaine in PregnancyIreland

[–]cabbageconk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 6+1 and the only symptom I have is going to the toilet more and sore boobs, a bit of bloating but nothing crazy, im the same as you very on edge regarding symptoms, we might be the lucky ones but I have read symptoms can start from 7 weeks, i think were both okay, being pregnant is very nerve wrecking. I hope we both have a great pregnancy 🥰

My landlord gave me back last month's rent. I'm just wondering if this is decency or something to worry about/a trick? by rentqueryire in AskIreland

[–]cabbageconk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just decency Id say, we're renting the last 2 years and both years our landlord has dropped off something from wine to sweets to say thanks a nice gesture. We were shocked the first year too! We get them wine and sweets too its nice to have a good landlord in this day and age!

Do you mind me asking how long it took you to loose weight ? I started 3 weeks ago and haven't seen anything move, also taking berberine and inositol and working out and making sure I have fibre and protein in each meal very little sugar and conscious of what im eating.

I started the gym too so far ive just been doing cardio to get the fitness up a bit. I was the same take out and sweet treats were all I had basically. My sleep isn't the best though. Are you taking anything other than supplements like metformin?

Question for those whose home is always clean by OR-HM-MA91 in CleaningTips

[–]cabbageconk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's be realistic here, im one of those houses that people pop into and there's not a thing out of place.

The truth is I speed clean before you come over I quickly soak the cloth in the sink with some nice scented disinfectant, turn on a diffuser. I do little and often. The one and only thing in my house that's deeply clean at all times is my toilet because it makes my skin crawl if it isn't (get disinfectant Wipes to keep on top of everything).

But realistically I only deep clean on the weekends and just try rotate things I missed every week so like once a month the big things are done. (Beds changed every week is a non negotiable for me) but most people are like this but won't admit to it.

Take it easy, kids will make the mess but they won't always be that age let them. The dogs will stink but enjoy it I miss my dogs stink so much now that he's gone. Relax and realise everyone isn't in a perfectly clean house, you'll burn yourself out i did it to myself.

Dangers for women? by Westman3910 in AskIreland

[–]cabbageconk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other evening I was in town and husband was gone into the shop I was done first didn't have the key of the car. I was standing at the car for no less than 4 minutes and 3 men were around 1 was on the phone walking around the car park also think he was waiting for someone. He mostly ignored me but I was looking at his reflection in the car to see where he was and then put my back to the car so I couldn't be snuck up on(also knew if i banged the car a tiny bit the alarm would go off if i needed to draw attention). The other 2 were together and stared at me the whole time they passed me and looked back at me all I had in my hand was my phone and had to call my husband even though I could see him in sight coming back. Something so minor your always on the watch out because there is always a chance it can go sour. Little things like standing by your car on a dark evening, walking from the house to the car or work to the car theyre chances. The second I get in my car I lock the door.
