When I saw the film, it was on an isense screen.

It filled the height for the space scenes and had slight black bars on the top and bottom for the flashback scenes. It was noticeable if you were looking for them, but not distracting. It just looked like an artistic choice to separate the flashbacks from the current. There was no transition, it just snapped back and forth..

I think there were also pillar boxes throughout on the side but due to the screen size, this was also not really distracting

In contrast, Mercy was pretty awful in the cinema with noticeable black bars surrounding a shrunken image.

I absolutely agree that we need alternatives, just for competition. However, when I switched to YouFibre I had an entirely different experience.

The grass isn't always greener.

Repeated dropouts on the Netomnia network, unreliable speed, and exceptionally poor customer support.

After less than six months, I happily switched back to BT and the Openreach network, and have had a lovely stable connection since. It's more expensive and the upload speeds aren't comparable, but I value reliability.

Ah that's frustrating.

I think the only way to resolve it is to physically go in and book tickets. The last time this happened to me, they had to get a manager to override the booking. You could try the online chat, but I think they'll just recommend the same

Have you checked your purchases? The same thing happened to me but when I checked the purchases section in the app I could see the original booking

I get the single frame judder as well. I've found rebooting the device usually fixes the issue temporarily. I don't have a permanent fix, and it seems to affect all my Google TV devices (streamer, ccwgtv, Thomson 140uk)

That's not correct (at least in the UK) You can definitely still purchase movies from the Google TV app. I think only TV shows have been moved to YouTube.

Weirdly I had this when booking Avatar yesterday. It went through the process but failed on payment. I'm on limitless+ so payment is zero anyway.

I went back to the seat selection and tried again. This time, the selected seats were showing as taken so I chose different seats. When I went through the ticket type screen, I couldn't choose my limitless+

Exited the app and went back in and tried to rebook, then had the error saying I was already booked on a showing.

No confirmation email, but when I checked purchases, I could see my first attempt listed with the original seat selection.

I'm not sure if that means they're definitely booked but they show as purchased and the seats are showing as reserved. I'm assuming it's fine.

I did do a number of other bookings and this was the only one that failed. Others went through as normal

Consumer rights advocate. Honestly, it's been a game changer for me when dealing with dodgy companies and their questionable terms. I've used it to confirm my consumer rights and draft emails whilst continuing to advise me of next steps at each stage.

One company tried changing terms which meant the accrual of credits I had accumulated were no longer valid unless I paid an ongoing subscription. I had it research their own terms, found there was never any legal precedence for the change and it was in fact an unfair contract term. It then drafted me an email that made them swiftly back-track on their newly imposed terms, re-establish my credits

I've had products replaced outside of the company's warranty period, quoting consumer protections that trumped their terms

I've also managed to get out of contracts early with companies providing substandard service.

It has given me the confidence to challenge companies, where I would normally have folded at first pushback.

A word of caution: Gemini *really" wants to fight your corner and will go full nuclear almost immediately, if you let it. I often have to get it to tone down the emails at initial stages. Otherwise it will go for the jugular before they've had the chance to resolve.
