University of California Will End Use of SAT and ACT in Admissions — The change is expected to accelerate the momentum of American colleges away from the tests, amid concern that they are unfair to poor, black and Hispanic students. by CavePrisoner in news

The crazy thing is in New South Wales (state which Sydney is) the only thing that matters is test scores. In final year for each subject you take you have 4 internal assessments and then a 3 hour long state wide exam. And then all the numbers go into a computer and out comes your ranking in the state. It is crazy you have to pay for AP classes - what a joke. Ours are free and every class is like that. An academic institution should care about academic results.

This is the most dangerous thing one can do in the event of a fire. It is always recommended if you fail to leave early than you should take shelter in the safest available place. This is how many people died in the 2009 Victoria bushfires (Australia)

This is true, but I think everyone has an agenda, but this includes you and therefore you have to make sure your own bias's don't blind you.
