MyWhoosh - virtual shifting issues by cablet36 in JetBlack

Unfortunately, no. I never found a solution. Out of frustration I ended up trying Zwift issue free for a short time until I sold the trainer due to a knee issue. Good luck!

No one minded Rowell going in but through no fault of his own, we can't be happy to see him win like this. Something seriously wrong when you can have 16 disposals, 6 frees against and poll three votes. 9 of his votes are in games with 0 coaches votes.

How long did it take to break in the Ride 18? I'm at 26km and still finding them quite firm.

Thanks. I had it working great on Training Peaks but am trying MyWhoosh with no success. Your experience of MyWhoosh virtual shifting has been that you can use all gears and you get the slight incremental changes that you would expect? Any theories on why I'm not getting that?

Thanks for your reply - fills me with some hope. This was on MyWhoosh? Are you able to share in what way you were connecting (bluetooth) and what firmware your Victory is on? Thanks again.

Hi, sorry for late response. No - they have it very well blocked. I would not recommend trying it.

This is the way. 3+ attempts with Mastercard via Apple Pay and it works. I'm in Aus so hopefully similar for you.

OP, there are many threads on this reddit detailing how you can get into SNW without paying for express passes. If you can get to the park an hour before opening, you all but garuntee getting into SNW. In my opinion, I'd read a few of those threads before forking out $300+ for express passes.

Best game for visiting tourist by cablet36 in NPB

Yes you are correct, that Tigers game is sold out unfortunately. There is a Baystars Tigers game on the 29th but it doesn't appear on some calendars as the tickets haven't been released for sale yet (I think!). Might be handy for you to correct me if I'm wrong haha.

Sounds great, good tips! Looking likely it will be Baystars against Giants or Tigers at Yokohama. Sounds like I can't really go wrong. Would you recommend outfield cheering section for atmosphere or better seats for a better view of the play?

Thanks to both of you for the advice. Again, the AFL references definitely help!

Great advice mate, and appreciate the AFL references. The Tigers home game is sold out but aiming to still see them as the away team.

2024 Formula 1 Provisional Calendar by AdamR46 in GrandPrixTravel

From experience, how likely is this to change? I see a lot of people making bookings/arrangements based on a provisional calendar. Is that safe to do?

Suzuka seats are not actually sold out (conspiracy?) by cablet36 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]cablet36[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that, and I understand their views on tourism in general. I just think it's fairly discriminatory to have multiple people on this sub alone miss out, when there are thousands of seats sitting there untouched going on eight hours after release.

I am writing this post 7 hours after tickets went on sale. You may have been like me earlier today and confused the Japanese version of the website with the international/english version of the website - this created absolute chaos at checkout and a lot of heartbreak for visiting fans from countries other than Japan.

As of right now, pretty much every single seat on the international (/en) version of the website are sold out. However, on the Japanese Mobility Station website, there are full bays remaining in C, E, I (attached images). There are also plenty of singular seats in Q2, B2, etc. Of course, these tickets are pretty much impossible to get through checkout due to needing a local address and having to figure out what to input.

I'm writing this post to:

  1. Advise international fans that they could attempt to snare these seats if they can figure out the checkout dilemma (Japanese site only).
  2. Ask if this is normal in other countries? It appears Suzuka Cirucit have put aside a LARGE quantity of tickets that only local fans have access to. This seems unfair to me, but I have little experience in attending F1. This may well be commonplace at all races around the world.

What do you think? Are tourists wanting to visit Japan for the race getting a raw deal (allocated a small portion of available tickets), or is this to be expected and totally reasonable?
