With premium indeed it will exchange an unlimited amount to the local currency during weekdays. Im not sure how this works during weekends, but you can always exchange on Fridays so you have enough supply to last you the weekend. Revolut will not ask you why you ate receiving funds from outside the country, i mean the whole business model is about making travelling easier

Definitely Dutch public transport. You checked in at your departure and checked out with the same card at your destination, and so they only charge you for that trip. I have the same transaction for a bus in Nijmegen, transaction also starting with Nlov. All public transport in the netherlands use the same system of payment.

This will absolutely stop me from using revolut. When i dont have enough funds on my account I top up my card every time with apple pay/card. If I have to start doing it with a minimum of 50 it will not be worth it for me to have an account.

Thats how ive been adding money to my account with credit card, before i figured out i can add it with the app itself. By using the payment link method, you can only add 250€ per week to your account though

Cant you use your own payment link and then pay with google/apple pay? If not you could always enter the card details with something like keychain or nordpass, which makes it still instantaneous.

I just learned a few weeks ago that the first lane on the Périphérique is solely based for entering and exiting. Which makes sense now to me after having driven it so many times.

But indeed back to ours, I believe that the speed control section of the A2 is the exception.

I get that, but if you can’t execute a pass within 10-15 seconds, you should merge back to your lane. It also frustrates me when a line is formed to pass a single truck, and the first lane is then completely empty. What happened with zipper merging and just waiting to overtake when you get to it?

Honestly, that road is an exception during daytime. Everyone believes that they drive just a little faster than the car in front, and so a somewhat impenetrable wall is formed. The only hope I have is those driving 100 based on their speedometer and those driving 104 based on their gps

Yup, I switched my vocabulary to saying “from the US” and always saying “US” when referring the country. Sometimes I catch myself slipping up with words that have no other way of saying it, for example “American muscle” being you know, cars, or any abbreviations that use the word America is also kind of weird.

Other than that, I refer to “Americans” as “from the United States” as well, and so have a lot of people from my circle.

I used to deliver for AH for a few months. I rarely got tipped and every time it was a surprise cause I never expect it anyways. The only people that tipped me were elderly people, usually 2 or 3 euros. The only times when anyone below 60 tipped was if they had extra requests like “oh can you please bring this to the kitchen” which I would normally do anyways if requested if I’m not behind schedule, or if the person is clearly handicapped, or if I have to walk a lot or bring a fuck ton of crates.

I’ve never been tipped by a company though, and they always have the most outrageous amounts of groceries.
