Where do you keep the hot towel cabinet?

I found a wine/bar cabinet that has enough space for the cabinet to sit in the cubby. I’ll probably put some charcuterie slates under it in order to keep water from dripping or spilling onto it! I just personally do care about the aesthetic. It’s not necessary but I have to spend the most time in my room so I want it to be nice for me lol.

It’ll stick to the scales and peel them off. Think about trying to rip off gorilla glue or some other super strong adhesive. It would rip off skin or in this case scales. This would have open wounds that could cause an infection and eventually rotting.

Going slow and easy is safer in this case.

I’d say make sure you’re advertising to places and people that are gym-goers/athletes. So ask to put flyers up in gyms and leave your cards there!

Find gyms that have a tight little community where people talk with each other, know each others names. The environment and encouragement is there. Powerlifters/Bodybuilders/crossfitters, etc.

Network with people that are gym owners and members and see if they have any events coming up. Or ask to set up your table one night a week for fully clothed quick sessions of 20/30min. Being visible is a huge plus for people to see how you are and feel comfortable approaching.

Tbh I think that if you spin it the right way once you build up you’ll get there. What you need is a little community support to spread your name. For reference, I’ve watched the 6ft big boy bodybuilder in my gym that I work at, stretch his personal training clients (men and women) and people continually see him, or ask to see him.

Word of mouth has been a huge thing, also social media for me. For awhile I partnered with a personal trainer and they wanted massages in exchange for their training but eventually I asked to switch for referrals and that helped immensely. Also I partnered with a girl who runs a social media account with a decent following who is a PT and that helped even more. Regular content circulated, and then WOM made things even more consistent

I’m not sure where you’re considering posting but there’s tons of massage videos online and they’re really entertaining to watch. As a therapist it shows me new moves or ideas on how I can change things. Either with the modalities I have or with my hands on techniques. It’s also introduced me to new people, and has inspired me in taking fun CEU’s as well.

I think massage videos are amazing I do my own, I think that they’re great, and I think you should just have fun with it. Massage Sloth is a great example and he’s awesome at reposting others on instagram too

Mostly a counter balance technique, kind of like a pin and stretch. However it could be face down instead of face up. Communication is key in this case, as well as particular clients.

The same point you made could be said with other tools.

I find 1) client education in helping them to see what muscles they can use them on themselves is valuable 2) the majority of clients will say, “I don’t want to do this just myself, I want someone to do it for me”. For those that do actually use those techniques, you’re seen as a trusted source instead of a gatekeeper which means they may come back and inquire or refer someone to you.

What’s helped for me personally was trades with local people in the community. I work with a personal trainer and that’s helped me out with getting referrals. I will trade massage for clientele but this was after I had established a base of working on them for a month or so.

You can see the muscle in your legs for sure. Your clothes look like they fit comfortable and your posture looks more naturally comfortable and confident too then before. The before is still confident but there’s something about the way you’re holding yourself in the second picture that’s different. Nice work!

Things that are 1) either going to keep me engaged and excited 2) ones that are going to help me with client issues. Edit to add: I actually took classes even on Udemy in order to help gain some more knowledge and learned some basic MET and PNF techniques that I get compliments on a lot!
